  1. as usual you miss the point. In those games he has played he has for 90% of the time had absolutely no support, he has been expected to hold the ball up, for what or whom is anyone’s guess, then instead of getting any help as we chase the game he is taken off. He is being asked to play a role he is clearly not good at. Playing Austin has at long last moved us a little way up the field as the penny has dropped that Austin is more a penalty box player. Hey how about playing both as a partnership and see how that works out ? So no I don’t think Gabbiadini should be playing instead I think he should play as well as. Got it ?
  2. im not surprised, has been treated abysmally by this clown of a manager
  3. absolutely. It’s all very well this manager being good at setting up to frustrate the big teams but we are still losing. 1-0 or 4-0 equals the same number of points gained - 0. clueless when it comes to setting up against teams we have to attack and beat. Listening to how good Huddersfield were today I’m fearful of what might happen next week. So all in all he’s not very good whatever quality of the opposition! Wonderful
  4. he is, Yoshida, Hoedt and Stephens
  5. normally I would be most concerned to see that percentage but the way things are I wouldn’t be upset to see the back of the majority of this squad. if this was FIFA 17 you would start the game all over again if you had gotten into the mess the club have with this squad.
  6. he was awful Wednesday in fairness, but yeah some of those selections/omissions are unbelievable
  7. whilst I don’t agree with the decision if we are playing as we did at City then Charlie wouldn’t be the best on the break
  8. Typical Dutch player then, they all have this ability to sulk and be a major pain in the arse
  9. I like Steven Davis but that was the worst game I have seen him have in a Saints shirt. Really struggling to find a positive about anyone tonight, Bertrand was poor but not as poor as the rest.
  10. you enjoy finding what you perceive as moral high ground over fellow supporters and hammering it home don’t you. as you are so pleased for Puel go and support Leicester.
  11. He quite clearly did, watch the replays again, that was no accident.
  12. Well he wasn’t brilliant, he was quite good, much better than against Bournemouth but thereby lies the JWP conundrum. He will have a decent game or two then go back to square one. His first corner today btw was bloody horrendous. We have better options than Prowsey I believe.
  13. Lovren really is the gift that keeps on giving.....and he’s not just for Christmas
  14. Very impressed by the whole team today in general. Tadic very good first half, very poor second half. Not a Redmond fan and nothing made me change my view of him today. I’m not sure he has a football brain, he’s better when he hasn’t got time to think about what he has to do. I despaired when I saw the line up but in fairness it worked. JWP much better than last week, Stephens, VVD and Yoshida very solid. Hojberg very good again. My only issue is why no Lemina ? He is the best midfielder we have and why the hell he didn’t even get bought on baffles me I’m afraid
  15. Very impressed with Stephens today
  16. what a complete nipple this guy is. It’s not just that you signed them David it’s the fact you paid so much for the privilege that’s the really funny part.
  17. He likes the tv cameras a bit too much and as for treating every player exactly the same ? Yeah course you do Mark
  18. well he hasnt given one away yet
  19. More Ted MacDougall than Sheringham. Limited outside the box but stick him anywhere near that 6 yard box and more iften than not he’ll get you a goal. It was good to see both for Everton and Bournemouth games that ball was being put in the area from out wide a lot more. Playing to a strikers strengths - about bloody time
  20. Absolutely. If next match a goal comes from the left and Boufal is stood on the halfway line with his hands in his hips there will be outrage he wasn’t tracking back.
  21. yes, good to see him working to get back and cover. He’s looking like living up to his reputation if he continues to get picked every week.
  22. I think taking the last three games as a whole there is definite improvement, certainly over the previous three games. Maybe this clear the air meeting has done some good.
  23. Redmond.....oh great
  24. and when they do get round to it they are looking at what club Howe should manage next
  25. Well I've spoken to a couple of gay friends since this happened and they both said "seriously?" and commented how ridiculous it was. As already mentioned he was the only one among all the Saints fans singing that at one particular moment to get hooked out and done for it was he ? Three years for that is totally over the top. People come on here and moan about no atmosphere at football. Might get worse as people will be frightened to open their mouths in case they say something that someone takes offence at.
