  1. You would of loved Ted MacDougall
  2. I wonder if the manager has learnt anything from this. We go one down, he puts on attackers and we scrape a point as opposed to when we go a goal up, he puts on defensive players to try and hold on and we never do. The best form of defence is attack !
  3. judging him and the players on a game by game basis ? Umm, ok, well 2 wins out of 19 tells it’s own story so you may have to forgive your fellow supporters who aren’t quite as forgiving as yourself cos that run is, in a word, pathetic.
  4. He also said “you don’t know what you’ve got until you lose it” Aint that the truth !
  5. This is my worry unfortunately. Still hope for the best. Would like to see Sims involved, a player with genuine pace who is pretty direct.
  6. Man City losing to Wigan has really screwed up things for BT and BBC. And to think the draw fell so well with all four top teams avoiding each other
  7. Didnt he state that he wanted to be closer to his family in London as one of his reasons for leaving ? If so he does realise that China is a bloody long way from London
  8. I think the squad is no better or worse than a mid table Premier League squad so anything between 8th and 14th. It is nowhere near as good as the squads that Pochettino and Koeman had and the fault for that lies solely with those who run the club.
  9. Nope of course it isn't fair but apparently nobody in authority seems to care.
  10. Pochettino as manager with the players being Le Tissier Van Djyk Steve Williams Channon McCarthy Cedric, Van Dyjk, Hoedt, Bertrand Lemina, Williams, Romeu Le Tissier, Channon, Austin
  11. I expect it’s already been picked as the tv bods would have assumed City would beat Wigan

    Redmond

If Redmond is vital to our survival then we are ****ed.

    Redmond

yep, he was on a hiding to nothing from that point on, especially when it became obvious that he will never be a striker.
  14. On the plus side by the time we go to Swansea for the rearranged league match they might be safe and not care :-D
  15. still at least a month away
  16. ive been waiting all fkin season for them to play well, I’m just wondering why anyone would want Redmond to be a regular again when he’s ****e
  17. as Boufal is injured that’s no surprise. I mean the alternative is Gabbiadini which would mean two up front and we can’t be having that. Big game for Redmond, if he’s ****e today we may not see him start another game this season
  18. Fully expect to see Davis, Yoshida, Redmond and possibly Gabbiadini and maybe Forster given a run out tomorrow.
  19. you are making an almighty assumption that these players give a **** about Southampton. This isn’t 1958 when players actually stayed with a club and played for them through good and bad. If we get relegated most of these buggers will shrug their shoulders, get their agents to find them a club with a nice little signing on fee to go with it and they will be gone. Only those not good enough will be left. Don’t paint them as people who care about Southampton and the supporters. If they did then they would have won more than five league games this season despite Coco the clown managing them.
  20. Either what he’s trying to say gets lost in translation or he’s a *****............nah, he’s a ***** !
  21. Steve Moran, David Armstrong, Niemi
  22. Bloody hell, I actually agree with you. You have contradicted yourself however with the first and final paragraphs
  23. Nail on head
