yes, apparently he’s not very mobile and that bothers some on here. For me he knows where that thing with the net at each end of the pitch is so, here’s an idea, play to his strengths and let’s see what happens. Worked today albeit against crap but don’t have him chasing shadows out wide or near the halfway line, have him prowling in the box or just outside of it. It shouldn’t be rocket science but MP has made a bloody meal of it........and I don’t buy all that crap about a renewed attitude in training either, that’s just an excuse.

I was always in favour of keeping him until the summer. Having watched him today I’m not too bothered if we cash in on him in January.

I like him, the run of games has done him good. He doesn’t feel he has to do something wonderful everytime he gets the ball now he’s not having to prove himself over 10 mins a game. His workrate isn’t too shabby either, he gets back and helps out defensively now which is a good sign. His unpredictability will sometimes frustrate but it will also win games too.

MP decides to pick clubs most natural goalscorer for once. Players get ball into box where Austin scores two and hits the post. There ya go MP, it’s not ****in difficult plan is it ?

i tend to agree. We could well see if the players are behind MP or not today.

We have a decent squad of players - NOT excellent We have seen no signs of excellent man management and certainly not excellent coaching - hes too cautious and we arent even any good at that. If we are going wrong tactically that is the fault of ? The tea lady ? The stewards ? Nope - the manager and his coaching staff Who are the people around who can help and why havent they started yet - are they in denial at whats happening ?

Didnt hear him after the match but before the game Jeff asked him about the decision to bring JWP on for Boufal in the 89th minute against Burnley. Matt said his substitutions, not just his but Puel's before him, were puzzling and didnt show any signs of going for a win especially at home. He didnt seem very keen to defend MP which probably tells you all you need to know about his feelings.

Gordon Strachan, short term until end of the season. He never put up with this propaganda football as he called it. Would get the players fit, would make them work and would play to win a bloody match unlike this idiot.
