I agree but what I think it is with Redmond as opposed to Long is his whole demeanour. He always, and I mean always, looks to blame someone else when he makes an error. To me he always gives the impression of thinking he’s better than he actually is. Now whether that was cultivated by Puel who thought he was Henry Mk 2 I don’t know but that’s my theory

If they think signing VVD will solve their issues they are in for a shock. They need a keeper, a full back or two and that midfield sorted. It might help if they had a coach who knew something about defending as well. On the plus side today probably put his price up a few million more such is their desperation.
