The one thing I really dislike about Sky is choice of pundit for particular matches. Bloody hell they have shed loads they wheel out regularly so why the hell when Liverpool are playing are they top heavy on ex Liverpool players. They would argue yesterday that Redknapp played for both, so expect to see him next week too with a "former Liverpool and Southampton" caption. Same with Souness I expect. Yesterday could easily have seen Henry as an impartial expert. The only good thing is Niall Quinn seems to have fallen off the face of the earth.

i can tell you that, it’s worse. In 74 we were the first victims of the three down rule and Lawrie had taken over mid season. Even under old twitchy in 2005 we could at least score, hell we even won a few games. There was always the belief, for me anyway, that we could do just enough to get out of it. I don’t have that belief this time. The relegation to League One was totally different of course, we were in financial crisis. This time round there is no confidence that the manager has a clue, little sign the players are up for a fight, nothing. It’s bloody desperate.
