My stereotypical impression of Italians, before the hard nosed Cortese arrived, was of a character that would turn and run at the first sign of conflict or disagreement. Let's hope NC is made of sterner stuff and if the Liebherrs want out, then he is able to broker a deal with those investors he has previously declared are waiting in the wings. To turn and run just is too sterotypical Italian !

I would suggest that NC has had his (annual ?) meeting with the Liebherr sisters, as trustees.Now the club has a higher profile they have suggested others get involved to get a more rational / balanced democratic process in utilising their father's estate trust funds and running the club. NC wants to retain his autocratic position, making all decisions, and has threatened them via the media. I would anticipate that, if necessary, the Liebherrs have other people up their sleeve to continue their fathers legacy.

(he was not there against QPR and WBA); before doing a clockwise lap of the ground taking in a dodgey burger (with stomach pump provided) at the car dealership / north car park corner ( closed after matches according to tannoy man) and buying a programme from outside The Dell Bar.
