take the money and let him go.His head and heart are in MANCHESTER Very sad that his head has been turned but if he is not fully committed to us it will cost us points as the season goes on
-
I think BBC south today played the radio solent commentary with the goals the night after, and the commentator was as excited as the fans.
-
what position were you playing:) It was amazing how Newcastle froze
-
as we now have a policy again of blooding our youngsters we have to get used to under par performances from the rookies. I hope it doesn't effect his progress. RK would not have risked it
-
true, but I was thinking of the 70's 8-0 at Everton 7-0 at Ipswich, 7-2 (Watford) there are loads more that I cant bear to bring back to my memory!!!
-
the only time I can remember the tannoy announcer creating an atmosphere was when Saints were losing a vital relegation match against keegans Newcastle with 10 minutes to go we were losing 1-0. The announcer came on and told the Archers to sit down, with that they all stood up and starting roaring their defiance. with that the whole ground lifted and Nwcastle wilted and we scored 3 in the last 5minutes or so. I had never seen anything like it before or after
-
watching Saints for nearly 50 years a 0-0 away is a cracking result. Most of you have been spoilt, we were always easy pickings away in the past. Feel sorry for those fans who went spent their money and went to the game
-
and what happens when that comes, its just different people taking their place. you only have to look at Scargill and the Kinnocks to see that. Power corrupts, Lenin ,Stalin didn't live in council housesonce they gained power, the workers were no better off
-
he is good at his job, and perhaps the players had their nose put out of joint as he had dropped them.Personallyi think it is too early for him, but he has performed wonders getting Bournemouth where they are
-
CB read the mail report, the headline Super Saints....... And then in the report on the lines of West Ham rubbish and Saints hardly much better. Personally I thought our movement and pace upfront would match Klopps lot, but of course it is not recognised as it should be
-
was that an hour before the game or with 10 minutes to go lol
-
I wish to be rude but I think you need to go elsewhere with nonsense like that
-
Redmond is the most improved player from his start this season to now is immense. He has pace strength and a good footballing brain, add to that a passion to win. He will be a top player for us
-
i dont know what the fuss is about, quite a few on here would get commemorative plates saying that we finished 7th
-
you havent just come around from your hangover and now realise you are in Division 4 by any chance?
-
I am /was a very pro stay voter, but we have to get behind the bizarre decision to leave for all our futures. Us banks and financial institutions may have their own agendas of course. I expect that the City will get the best of the deal as banks do and the government knows that we need it to be strong and so will get special treatment. Its the rest of us that will take the worst.
-
Personally I think he should persevere as Redmond looks as though he will grow into the role. If it was JRod fans would give him time, give Redmond the slack he deserves and he will be a fans favourite/must play
-
sadly it probably will be the closest to us ever winning the league.
-
as much as I dislike Liverpool you really have to admire their inter play when they are clicking. Klopp will make them a title contender if not this season , next
-
I may be wrong but I think it was one of the worst penalties I have seen by a Saints player
-
Who's got a Saints flag and what has it got on written on it.?
OldNick replied to chocco boxo's topic in The Saints
Dubai Phil has one with Dubai on it, it probably has some golfing story written on it somewhere lol -
thanks for posting that Trousers. Austin is a goal scorer and obviously has his faults but goals are what we need. Martina is under rated IMO and overall we looked pretty slick on the ball.
-
I agree, RK wouldnt have wanted to buy him if he was so bad
-
i cant think it was worse than Rasiak taking the chance for Surman to get a hat trick once. That was deplorable
-
obviously if you are talking just finance then it wont work ,but we now have 3 players on long contracts, do you want to bet that they wont see out four of the 6years? In theory we could keep them until they have 2 years left and still get your money. We all know though if they do well they will be off in the next summer or so
