Yes there is, pics of Keegan, Le Tiss & Crouch.

Back and front pages.

Crouch been on Solent this morning saying he wouldn't rule out Keegan joining.

Meant to say ...website.

Good news if true, although Crouch didn't rule out Paul Allen taking us over :)

Keegan would be a romantic option and maybe instill a bit of belief in the fans.

I know we shouldn't assume anything in life. However, doesn't this mean that they are happy with the deal, to lodge names is a serious declaration of intent surely?

I don't like these Crouch mind games.

Please stop and get on with the facts Sir.

Guest Dark Sotonic Mills
According to a mate listening to Radio Solent, "Tony Lynam has just texted radio solent to say that Kevin Keegan has not been formally approached".

Anyone else hear?

Semantics, dear boy. How can anything happen 'formally' until the company exists?

Echo also says that contact has been made with at least one of the other consortiums to confirm their interest just in case the Pinnicle bid fails.

Encouarging that the names have been submitted to football league and that they think that it could all be announced tomorrow if these last bits run smoothly. Press conference was penciled in for monday but even that could be moved to tomorrow.

So, in a nut shell, we will know (if all goes through) by tomorrow who this guy is. Can it really be almost the end of the dark days?

As posted elsewhere it sounds like Pinnacle have denied KK being involved so is this just Crouch shouting his mouth off again and if so for what reason?

If Pinnacle have got this guy involved at the top level maybe they didnt think a clean sweep was needed? If he is going to carry on with the cryptic press snippets then maybe they should think again?

That doesn't mean he hasnt been informally approached. Presumably he can't be formally approached anyway until the new owner formally own the club.

Not gonna believe it just yet. Good things don't happen to Saints.

don't know how old you are or for how long you've supported saints, but trust me having supported sfc for nearly 50 years, we've had a golden era or two and we're due another.

COYR's!

Did anyone believe crouch's denisl?! He iis hardly gonna come out & say, "yes I'm involved" before things are officially announced.

The issue with that is the denial was the second Crouch denial that will eventually turn out to be not quite accurate...

Like the not taking early payment from Arsenal for Theo one.

Not a great start, I understand the reasons he couldn't technically confirm he would be involved but there are better ways of saying these things.

I'm all for having him on board, successful, experienced, fan, but somebody should ensure he is only allowed to speak via the club's PR manager. One foot in mouth too many could cause problems - like the points deduction.

I'll go along with that. Div 3 sth and onwards. I have seen us go up to the then Div 2 back down to 3 and up again. Twice promoted to the top tier and then along comes him whose name we do not mention.

We are not a big club when looking at support level but grew used to being in the top tier. We have always sold players to stay afloat and unless our new owner is stupidly rich always will.

For us to compete with the big boys we need a larger stadium and crowd capacity that is taken up by the missing support. To start with a few full houses would help us no end.
