Great to see him back for the reserves. Perfect for this league. Big, strong, quick and direct. Can play out wide ore even up front. Good option for Pards to have.

No need to rush him back but ideal player to come off the bench.

Have you ever seen him play? With your description of him it doesn't seem like you have.

Not tall agreed, but well built and can look after himself. (More like Diego...not the 2009 model... than Nathan)

He also seems to genuinely enjoy winding up the opposition and often seems to need to do this to play at his best - I can't see him being kicked out of many games.

Hope he is really over his achilles as loss of acceleration would ruin his chances of making it.

Big? AND strong? You sure? He's quick and direct, I'll give you that but as for big and strong, hes a carbon copy of Nathan Dyer mate.

He's not that strong/big - but he's very direct, more so than Jake IMO - he really impressed me in the couple of cameo's he had last year and i think he could be a cracking option for us.

He has more strength than Dyer to be fair, but he certainly isn't big. Unless you're Gillett.

Either OS is wrong, or we have some giants posting on here who think 6'2 is small!

or people are not sure who he is!

I read big as in Lambert or Wotton big, broad across the chest, big arms etc.

Besides, he definitely isn't 6'2, as that would make him the same size as Lambert.

Well regardless of how tall he is, he is pretty well built, certainly compared to Dyer etc, he was a junior sprinter afterall.

And glad he is back from a nasty injury. Potentially good player!

Yes, he is definitely much more sturdy than wee Nathan.

Who cares about his physical attributes - from what I have seen he has the making of being an excellent player for us especially at this level and give us some pace and attacking options at least down one side of the pitch. Can't wait for him to be given his chance when he is fully ready.

If you sit at the back of the stands everyone looks like Nathan Dyer.

Exactly right. Could be just the kind of guy who could be very useful. With Papa impressing and Antonio also looking decent we seem to have much more pace in and around the squad. And pace is so important in todays game.

I met him at a academy game a few years ago and he is about 5'6" to 5'7" based on my 5'9" - I did not measure him. I think he is a better prospect than Dire and does not have the attitude problem and is not a convicted tea leaf

OS and Soccernet have him at 6'2" or 1.88Mtrs. Maybe he's shot up in those couple of years.

I must admit at being surprised at seeing McGlaggon shown at over 6' on the Saints FC site

Thought he must have shot up since last year which obviously isnt the case

Some of the stats seem to be wrong

Also looking at the saints team pic. some of the players appear to be standing on tip toes to look taller if you look closely. Must admit to doing this myself when I used to be in team photos!!

May be it is part of a cunnnig plan?

Saints list in a 1st team squad... the oppo see a new name and see his is 6ft 2.

They play a big, slow hulk of a CB against him, and Kayne duly dances through his legs and slaloms past 3 covering defenders before cooling slotting past the bemused keeper!!

Other than that I thought he was no bigger than 5ft 8 (I didn't though laugh and abuse him like the racist tool that sat behind me in the Chapel last season)

After this discussion, can't wait to see him out on the pitch so that we can see what the truth is - I thought he looked about 5ft 9in, but perhaps he was still growing - must be eating his Weetabix. Anyway, he looked very promising when he came off the bench before - not the usual faffing around - he just ran straight at the opposition.
