I have missed two home games this season ,Millwall because i was on holiday and MK Dons in the league, due to having a training day with my work. I just wondered what everyone elses reasons were for not going to games.

Because they choose not to, now will you please stop with this pathetic "i'm better than you" campaign.

I haven't said anywhere "i am better than you" I'm just curious to know how we can pat ourselves on the back for taking 51k for a cup final, yet less than half of this amount are to busy with other stuff to go regularly and what they are doing instead of going to games.

I saw a bloke who sits near me at Wembley with his wife and two kids, who rarely if ever go. There's your answer.

Lets see work (for week day matches), family commitments, being poor. I try to take me and the nipper once or twice a month. I'd love to go every week home and away but my life and bank balance won't allow it. I'm desprately saving for a season ticket this year so I'm hoping we don't go up otherwise it will be out of my price range again:smt090

A more valid question might be "why has Turkish suddenly started posting tonnes and tonnes of **** on the main board?", which is a fair enough question looking at your 'join date'.

Because he decided to stump up a fiver, realising that b-anter would never return.

That's my guess.

I will probably start going again regularly when we are back in the prem when the idiots (mostly in the northam) and a few evangellical happy clappys are priced out

And I will probably stop going when we get back in the Premiership and the commercialised, americanised happy clappys such as yourself return.

What about away games? Don't they count?

Home games are easy. Personally I think it's taking the time and money to travel all round the country that makes the difference.

I've only missed one home game (Franchise in the league) due to a wedding, and 4 Saturday away games due to lack of finances. Sadly I can't make any midweek aways that take longer than 2 hours to drive to due to childcare issues.

Makes me chuckle that some people make zero effort to attend away games. I only work part time yet make sure I make every game possible even though at times this is against better financial judgement.

What it boils down to is the fact that if Saints are playing, I want to be there and it really hacks me off if I'm not.

Really can't get my head round that attitude.

If you don't like the people in the Northam at the moment, sit somewhere else.

There will be loads more happy clappers if we get back to the Premier League.

If Saints are playing why would you not want to go? Doesn't matter what league we're in.

Same here, can't stand the premiership and all the re arranged sky fixtures, i'll just stick to the aways and 3pm Saturday kick offs.

Missed three away games Carlisle, Hartlepool and our second trip to MK Dons and just Torquay at home, I bought a ticket but was taken to hospital and missed the game. :(

What sort of excuse is that, were you dead NO. was there breath in your body YES, no blinking reason to miss the match, If you required surgery I'm sure the surgeon would have rescheduled a few hours so you could go to the match first. :)

Missed 4 games in all. Carlisle and Southend due to a stag do and My sister's wedding. Stockport for lack of funds and Colchester due to my lift pulling out at the last minute.

Tell you friends and family to schedule wedding out of the football season if they want you to attend. :)

Post of the decade.

He had a slightly poorly face, so cried off out first ever JPT game. Shouldnt have been allowed to go to Wembley IMO.

Because I live in Swindon, I don't get paid much money and I cannot justify what would be a least about £55 every other week on football - and before any says, no I don't smoke, I virtually don't drink and I more or less do feck all in my life because I have to count every penny.

I went to Wembley because my Sunday morning team's sponsor is a Club Wembley member and he gave me the tickets!
