With all the rumours flying around with Celtic and others interested, NC potentially not happy etc.. it would be good to see what the fans think now the season has ended.

So based on our performance this year under Pardew would you want him to stay on?

My answer yes, without a shadow of a doubt!

Not particularly bothered either way tbh. If he's stays that's fine but we could get better managers with the money we've got. You've got to ask though 'what's Pardew done that no other manager could have done in the same situation?' Imo not that much more.

It is quite irrelevant whether I want Pardew to stay it is NC's decision

But there is nothing real at the moment to suggest that NC is going to sack Pardew or Pardew wants to leave but that of course may change

Manager builds team that will play to his style and method.

Manager then leaves. This is a bad scenario....however we can cheer up cos its not Saints scenario.

YES he's staying and next season the message is HANG ON FOR THE RIDE :-)

I'd be surprised if AP goes but experience has shown that the only truly predictable aspect of our great game is its very unpredictability . Reading the signs something does seem to be 'up' as they say , and if Alan Pardew pays the ultimate price for our failure to achieve promotion this season then I'm quite sure a top quality replacement will be signed up before very long .

If a football club manager finds himself in conflict with his Chairman and/or Owner then let's face it , there's only going to be one winner .

A resounding YES!

For all their millions sacking managers hasn't got QPR into the play offs let alone the Premiership. Continually sacking and changing your manager does not work, we have seen that in the past under Lowe.

Let Pardew finish building his team and finish the job he has started. We have made great progress since our poor start. Who would have said we would end the season as we have after those first 10 matches.

Next year we will win this league if we keep faith in Pardew!

This.

Nicola Cortese and Markus Liebherr are far more important to SFC than AP. If NC does decide he cannot work with AP then we must accept it and move on.

Agree, we have no real say in the matter, I just hope that there is no meat to any of these conspiracy theories and that AP stays.

A categorical yes.

I find it amazing that there should be any question marks around his future.

He's turned this club around in one season and has built some solid foundations, ready to push on next season.

Yes. The only reason we are having this debate is because he is a victim of his own success. 9 months ago we'd have been pleased with a mid table finish but because we did so well and got to within spitting distance of the play offs he has mysteriously "failed".

Unfortunately you are quite correct

I find all the talk about AP possibly being replaced indicative of the "want everything yesterday" world we live in! 10 months ago we didn't even have a club for sure and although the appointment was met with an underwhelming excitement (probably partly to do with the rumours of "bigger" names such as Keegan) IMHO he has done fantastic job and more importantly will continue to do so for years to come. Managers just like most people in life get better at what they do over time. His history at other clubs both good and not so good make him what he is.

We have WON 83 points, 5th best in the league and only 3 off 2nd. Considering every other club had weeks and weeks of more preparation, the situation he came into at the club then he has done as good if not better than any other manager in the league - Paul Lambert excluded.

The years of changing manager for whatever reason eventually cost us dearly and after such an exciting and enjoyable season anyone who thinks we should change now really is short-sighted.

Let's reflect on a foundation season that will allow this club to be built back up to a force in thr Premiership....with Alan Pardew in charge!
