Matthew Le God Posted 12 May, 2010 Share Posted 12 May, 2010 (edited) Skybet have now made odds for the 20 teams guaranteed to be in League One next season. Saints remain favourites and will likely stay so even when the playoff losers are added. With their odds already coming in from 4/1 they will likely get shorter in the next few months. Win the League Outright Saints 3/1 Sheff Weds 7/1 **Three teams out of Huddersfield, Swindon, Millwall and Charlton likely to go roughly here** Peterborough 12/1 Plymouth 12/1 Brighton 12/1 Notts County 14/1 Colchester 14/1 MK Dons 16/1 Brentford 20/1 Walsall 25/1 Bristol Rovers 25/1 Carlise 25/1 Tranmere 25/1 Oldham 33/1 Yeovil 40/1 Leyton Orient 40/1 Hartlepool 40/1 Bournemouth 40/1 Rochdale 50/1 Exeter 50/1 **One of Morecombe, Rotherham, Aldershot and Dagenham & Redbridge likely to go here** Edited 12 May, 2010 by Matthew Le God

Appy Posted 12 May, 2010 Share Posted 12 May, 2010 Brighton 12/1 is a good shout. Edit: If its to win the league maybe not.
dune Posted 12 May, 2010 Share Posted 12 May, 2010 3/1 is a w4nk price. I checked SKYBET the other day and they were offering 4/1 and I thought that price was rubbish.

dune Posted 12 May, 2010 Share Posted 12 May, 2010 Not really. Well i'd rather take EVS once the season has started than risk 3/1 without seeing how things are going. To make a season long bet worth the trouble you've got to be betting £100+ so it's got to be a big outlay and at that price I don't think the potential gain is worth the risk. You do realise the odds are only that short because nearly every fan outside the Prem thinks we're going to walk the league next season?

gogo_saint Posted 13 May, 2010 Share Posted 13 May, 2010 I know a guy who won thousands combining wolves as champions with an ebanks-blake top goalscorer bet last season, now I dont think our odds would be as good but a champions and lambert top scorer would be a good bet in my book... Gordon Mockles Posted 30 May, 2010 Share Posted 30 May, 2010 Dunno about the leagues but bet365 have Rooney 10/1 top scorer and Tevez 33/1 and Ronaldo 18/1. Combination of Rooney top scorer and Spain to win : 50/1. Stuck a tenner on! As usual, unlikely to win but worth a squirt! Couldn't find League One odds up yet. With Gary Johnson as the manager too, they'll do well.

If it was worrying then the odds would be low. Secondly odds are affected by the amount of money placed on each selection and nothing to do with likelyhood of someone being appointed.
