didnt we beat his MK Dons side 4 times last season?

WON 3-1 (H) 24 Oct in league (when they had won something like 4 in 5 and the Echo said we had no chance)

WON 1-0 (a) 20 Jan in JPT

WON 3-1 (H) 9 Feb in JPT

WON 3-0 (a) 20 March in league.

Also their 2 main forwards are out of the game I believe (Hughes - suspended and Westcarr - taken off after 12mins with pulled hamstring).

Provided the Players have the right attitude when they go on the pitch I see ince getting the same result as last year.

It's quite funny that Ince left MK Dons becuase they had no ambition (or money) and gone to a club that really can't be much better in those terms than the Dons. Big one for Nigel this weekend if he gets out smarted by Ince I will start to worry a bit. After all if Southamptons worst manager in years can out smart Ince four times in one season, should be easy for our Nige.

TBF it's Adkins versus NCFC coaching staffs tactics/selection + the new manager factor.

getting in the excuses already;)

Also Nigel doesn't have Antonio who always played a blinder against the Dons last season he seemed to like tuanting the wotsit in every match.

By all accounts Notts have played some good football this season. It's a shame they're now going to stop and concentrate on the things Ince thinks are important, I'm sure his first trainning session will incude useful stuff like how to badger the ref, fouling and how to fake an injury to waste more time.

There is no new manager effect ..... sorry to disappoint ..... its a complete myth based on a study of actual results !

Maybe with other clubs it's not true, but not with us. We always lose when a new manager has been appointed, have done for years. I'm pleased for you that you've been able to block this from your memory, but most haven't!

Let's hope it doesn't continue on Sat.

Ince will fire them up but if Hughes (wonder if he'd have got stick from our fans?) and Westcarr are missing it gives us a boost although Karl Hawley is a very useful player at this level so no excuses for our defence. If we apply ourselves and pick a pragmatic line up (rest Guly for this one and swap him for Bignall as County's back 4 struggle with pace plus Bignall will offer more of a physical presence to help Lambert out) we should have a good chance of winning and we really need to if we're going to home in on 2nd place.

I'd pick:

Davis, Butterfield, Harding, Seaborne, Fonte, Morgan, Chaplow, Lallana, Puncheon, Lambert, Bignall - Subs: Bart, Frazer, Chambo, Barney, Martin, Guly, Dickson

That's a squad that should go to Meadow Lane if set up correctly and win.

So our captain wouldn't even make the squad?

The reason behind this is simply that in previous seasons (before last year) we have been absolutely rubbish and lost more than we have won therefore it is natural that we would lose quite a few versus a new manager.

I agree with the motion that says we will lose. We simply don't have a chance, the curses are always far too strong (see Plymouth match for proof).

We'll lose 2-0.

Thats what I like to see. Confidence in your team. If you feel like that, I hope you're not making the journey up cos it'll be an utter waste of your time
