They don't but the club plays in the same league set up as my nipper and the fella who runs the team they were playing is a mate of mine.

Tell you how small a world it is Alps. The fella who collects Mrs.H's 'Hospice Lottery' saw my Saints badge on my 'top' and told me that 'His Uncle played/Managed Saints!'

(I'm still helping him with his research)

Sad story and maybe had Liam been living in Hampshire and taken to a hospital here he might have survived. Hospitals, treatment and Staffordshire ring too many alarms for me. Worse care and treatment hospitals in the country.

That's awful. My condolences to his family.

The same thing happened at my sons rugby club about 6 years ago. There was a horrible atmosphere around the club for a while - god knows what the family were feeling.

Very sad indeed.

The death of a child must be the very worst thing life bestow on anyone, but grief is the price we pay for love they say .... and what a terrible price his loved ones must be paying tonight.

I'll spare them a thought for what it's worth.

He was running back to the centre circle are celebrating with his dad and granddad and just collapsed and fitted.

He was dead then. They gave CPR etc until the ambulance arrived and he was pronounced DOA.

My nipper was playing at the same time yesterday and Stafford Falcons, the opposition, is run my people I know and the U13 manager is a mate. His players and families had to watch it all, especially the dad and granddad seeing their nipper die.

'Kin awful.

Perhaps it would be nice if you mentioned this to SFC for All Saints Day, give the lad a mention. RIP

Utterly, utterly terrible. Sincerest condolences to his family, I can't imagine what they are going through, such joy to terror in no time at all.

How awful. What a nightmare vision. Joy (and I've felt it when my kids have scored) giving way so suddenly and quickly to world-shattering heartbreak. Awful, awful, awful. I really could have done without the details, they feel burned into my mind now.

This was a very tragic story but has absolutely nothing to do with Southampton Football Club or Saints as we know it. THe AFCSaints are the church team from Knutton in Staffordshire. Some have been mislead into believing there is a relationship with our Saints or Southampton Football Club. R.I.P. Liam
