Completely different situations, approaches, and methods. Obama's policies turned most people back from or near the border, whereas we're now seeing people dragged out of cars, chased down the street, etc. 

Google AI mode will give a better answer than I can -  just punch in "what's the difference between ice under trump and obama" and take it from there, ie follow up with "did Obama's approach mostly turn people back from the border" or whatever". 

The approaches and motivation are so far apart they're incomparable.

I was a senior project manager for LG reorganisation in the 1990s, so I have direct personal experience of the politics, planning, work, and costs involved.

There is no difference, they are even using the same man to run it. When he did it for Obama he was given an award, but now he does it for Trump he is a vile swine. It is proof 100% that TDS is real. The "cages" were built during the Obama presidency as temporary holding areas - true. Nobody died in them during the Obama presidency - fact. That happened during Trump's first term.

The new Texas map is already in place, favouring the Republicans, as do the maps for North Carolina and Missouri. ( It was the Texas action that triggered Governor Newsome in California ). Other states are considering changes.

( Normally the maps are assessed every 10 years in line with the census, this 'mid term' revision is unusual).

Ironically  the USSC rejected a new map for Utah as gerrymandering.
