What are you talking about? My position has been and remains that we will strengthen significantly before the window closes. That doesn't mean I wouldn't have rather we got some of those players in earlier.

I hope you're right

They've just edited it and made me look like a right mug.

Don’t worry we are all mugs for bothering

Mmmmmmm, I don’t think you are as convinced as you were

My feelings are exactly the same as they were when we had this conversation yesterday or the day before. Identical in fact.

Archer offers absolutely nothing on the wig.  Needs to be up the middle or not in the team.

Though still better than Arma & Fraser. I’d rather see him alongside Downs.

What system suits Fraser, Armstrong, Manning, Bree,Stephens and Archer out of interest?

352 would suit the squad better. Wingbacks getting balls into 2 up top would be better than forwards pretending to be wingers and not getting anything through to anyone.

No Manning, Fraser or AA though.

You know those dreams where you're being attacked but can't run, you try to punch and it's so soft and ineffective.

That's what Saints play like...every game.

Clearly the reset has hardly got going yet. Disappointing because I was hoping a left field appointment like Will Still would already have got us looking like a totally different side but today is worrying.

Sesay off.  Lads played bloody well. 🙌

Has done pretty well, at least showed some energy and moments of quality in the middle which we’ve been starved of as supporters. Basics of football really. Bit different to facing a very experienced operated in O’Brien next week though.

There have to be individuals within the club who are causing this rot.

Curious to see what Robinson can do.

Fraser in central midfielder, can't be right?

Who else?

Poor from Quarshie- stood off and let Minteh do exactly the same thing he did for the first goal.

This is what you get with ‘project signings’. We’ve got to re-set our expectations, top half would be good going.

Put a bloody tackle on or at least pressure the ball. Why keep backing off and just give them a free shot. Pathetic.

Bednarek lives within him!

How do we know he doesn't want to replace Baz? Agree about Stephens though I'd much rather he wasn't playing but he obviously wants experience. Frazer playing we don't really have much of an alternative other than Robinson with Sulemana gone and Edozie going.

This is my frustration, Still has been here weeks now and by this time next week we’d have played our first match, and on our preseason showing have lost to a side well and truly on an upward curve. Literally what is our style, what’s he trying to achieve? At least Lego had implemented his game plan by now.

Despite all the bollocks from Spors and Solak about making a proper fist of it we look like we’ve gone backwards, and if this isn’t the squad Still wants why is he not banging down their doors to get players in he actually wants.

Apparently him, Armstrong and Stewart are going to blow the Championship apart this season.

My main concern here is we've yet to put in a decent, cohesive performance and our season starts in 7 days.

We’ve had a PL-type pre-season and Spanish sunshine to reward apathy and abject failure was typically tin-eared. Should have been Eastleigh, B Rovers, Crawley, Reading, Cardiff and Huddersfield. Tough, physical, competitive warm-ups to get ready for what’s to come.

How do you know he isn't? I don't think you can blame the manager for saints not bringing more players in yet.
