Good player who gets through a hell of a lot of work and organises the team. Has been a tremendous servant to Wednesday for best part of  a decade (possibly more, think he might have been with them in our L1 days).
 

Sort of player we’ve not had since the days of MLT and Dodd.

Yes, Harry Amass is by far their most valuable player and the classiest left wing-back in the Championship. Unfortunately for Wednesday, he's only on loan from Man United. If United would sell him, he'd be a great buy for us, but they'll probably want him for their first team soon.

Yeah even aside from his goal his firet touch and movement suggested a player capable of playing at a higher level.

Two wins in a week sets us up nicely for when we return after the international break. Really pleased for both Jander and Azaz with their first goals today 😊 Adam Armstrong's finish was sublime for our third 😊 Leo was class, he is soo good 😊 Jander, Azaz, Downes and Fellows very good too. Barnaby Williams did well on his senior debut when he came on at half time 😊 Hoping we can get the managerial appointment done early next week.

I'm pleased with the points but I think still would have got them.

 

I just don't want the points to cloud judgement.

I still think the lack of centre forward options is the biggest problem sort that out and the rest may well fall into place.

Even with poor goalkeepers and defenders.

I don't think it'll be Eckert, it's too risky. I think the victory today, plus the chants, just all means that O Neil was possibly being considered, but they we're testing the waters with the crowd. It's obviously a no go

As previously suggested, I think Eckert have given Southampton time to think about their next move and not rush into anything. He's said himself, he's just an interim manager. I think it'll be someone else, and it'll not be a quick appointment. Just a guess
