CSA96 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Confirmed, the actual shirt is on FootyHeadlines today 3 1
Mozz Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago If footy headlines are reporting it I have no doubt it’s the actual the shirt, but I’m 99% the images are the same as from the other leak, just cut out from the previous background.

There's no reason not to use the full-colour logo on any kit, unless you're some smart-arse tone-deaf twat that thinks a monochrome logo is somehow cool or trendy. Does any other club engage in such self-indulgent stupidity? Whilst that away kit design is a bit of harmless fun, the illegible monochromatic logo and shit-fest back-panel detract from what could be a decent quirky kit. Aaaaand.... Relax.... Badger Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago All a matter of opinion but for me the mono colour crest is the least of my concerns. The design and the ridiculous back panel render discussion about the crest pointless. the design is more important, after who will be wearing it of course. Get the team right and I don’t suppose we’ll care too much if the change kit is them playing in their underpants. (In answer to Trousers question I’m pretty sure others have done this with the badge it, but can’t recall who or when).

Think they do it pretty often. I think a lot of the clubs, certainly the top English clubs (Arsenal, City, Liverpool, United), have been using mono crests in recent years

Sees that awful wave effort from the Ralph/Jones/Selles relegation season and raises it. Third kit wants to be decent or it’s a no from me this year, won’t be buying the above or the 1 star boring home shirt. 3

mss636 Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago The simple solution is to not buy it. But I remember similar disgust at the pink shirt before everyone decided they liked it after all and it still sold out. FWIW I loved last years kits, this season home is ok and that away is truly disgusting! (Also for full colour badge and stripes on the back)

But they probably won’t. Imagine they’re too inclined to just nod along to whatever they’re told, and be grateful the club listen to them on whether the concourse should stock Quavers and Wagon Wheels. 3

Possibly a lot easier when it’s produced in house, but I doubt we’d end up with the crap we’re served up with if fans views are canvassed. For me a feature on a striped shirt is ‘stripes on the back?’. If that’s not available then I’d sadly be inclined to scrap the stripes altogether.

Every season for the last 10 years or so we get a plain back , every year that happens I don’t get a shirt, just my lil protest. I use my remake of the old rank xerox one that was reinvented. Now that’s the only kit that we should alternate from proper stripes in my opinion, just to freshen things up now and then. Away kits , for me yellow and blue it’s just a colour that obviously has history for us but more importantly those colours could mean we just need two kits each season, design can be a bit inventive for that aslong as it’s something people wd want to buy.Not against a two year cycle either maybe change home and away alternatively aswell so fans aren’t having to fork too much each season. 1

Far too much I agree with, and common sense expressed here to register with those making decisions. If we can’t have a full striped kit then I’d like the Rank Xerox to become the standard default kit. With the sash reserved for anniversaries! Away kit - for me should be amber and black, but accept yellow and blue seems indelibly set for many. Don’t mind if that is varied with navy/yellow (as 2010/11) or stripes as last season. Third kit - I like the red and black, or sky/navy (again, Rank Xerox era)but should give some licence for the club to bugger about and vary it. Within reason. So no Japanese wallpaper designs or psychedelic ‘far out, man’ crap (2022/3 and this year). Two year cycle, good idea, but commercially the club and manufacturers probably wouldn’t suppory that.
