Stud mark of doom Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Is it too early to suggest bald head fancy dress (where necessary) at West Ham? 1
Tom57 Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I think when West Ham fans talk about JWP's legs being gone they're thinking of this: I don't think it's that bad as Raya is running very quickly even for an outfield player and it must be at the end of the game if he's gone up for a corner, so JWP had probably covered quite a lot of ground by then, whilst Raya would be comparatively fresh from not having to run around for 90 mins. 3

And Nuno didn’t like it…. no idea how true, just passing info on from a West Ham mate. He probably said "I badly want to play" as opposed to "I want to play baldy" and it got totally misinterpreted. 2

I try and avoid watching them at all costs, so I have genuinely no clue if he did anything They're quite positive about him from what I can see. If they deemed him useful last season, it's a good sign. Quote JWP gone back to Southampton Quote Liked him when he was with us in a struggling team, he look calm, and dedicated Quote He is in a different league to anything we have currently in midfield Quote Good player. Get the feeling he didn't particularly enjoy his spell here that much 2

Ambsaint Posted August 29 Posted August 29 800k? What were West Ham thinking selling him to us as a Championship rival. Possibly one of the best signings we'll ever make for where we are.

Baird of the land Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Made me laugh when just before ht the now commentator brought up his touch map and said he just seems to be playing the ball sideways and back. 2
BARCELONASAINT Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago JWP is not responsible for us dropping 2 points today but dont let that get in the way of the haters having any reason to knock his game. He was easily one of our better players today, constant movement, quick passing keeping everything going. Yes plenty of sideways passing but also plenty of forward passes and driving forward with the ball. 3

Not his fault he doesn’t offer any of the attributes Charles provided, that’s on the club for cheapskating it. 3
West end Saints Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Played well today in his first start. Probably our best players. Shea Charles hasn't always played at that level

He isn’t the reason we drew today, and to even imply it just makes you look more ridiculous.
