I think they'd probably sack off Preston...

We took 55k to Wembley for the JPT...I can't imagine we'd struggle to sell 35,000 for this...

That was our first ever visit to the new Wembley and pretty sure tickets/everything wasn't as expensive as it is now. Whereas we visited just two seasons ago and a lot of people are backing us to be there again next month.

As I said I already know a few people who aren't planning on going and are sticking to Preston instead. I'll be doing both personally.

The train situation won't help either.

That’s fair enough if a financial choice but to not go because think we will lose is not what its about

Yeah I get that, I'll always believe we have a chance for these sorts of games anyway.

That's a very shit KO time. If it goes to ET and penalties then it'll be cutting it fine to get back to St Pancras in time for the last train back home 😕

You'll be dancing on the streets after the game when we win...!

i have the same issue, last train for me leaves at 8.40pm so even without extra time unlikely to make it back to Kings Cross in time, if it goes to extra time no chance. There is later train back to Leeds or York but looking at about 70 for a taxi back home from there.

As I put earlier in the thread, in my nearly 58 years of following Saints I have only had the chance to see us play at Wembley about 7 times, many barren years were had. If people are banking on a play off final and so bin this they could be making a mistake. Visiting Wembley to watch the Saints is an experience that shouldnt be missed (I understand if it is due to finances) The fans support could be a part of making the dream come true. Dont want people to say that you couldnt even sell out!!

Where are you going to? Just bought my train ticket leaving London 22:15 (got a super off peak just in case).

Even if it goes to pens its over before 9 surely

Reckon you'll be fine without extra time. Hour and forty minutes should be plenty?

With extra time you're fucked though.

100% this. These days dont come around very often. Much like Europe you've got to experience it whilst you can. It might go horribly wrong, we might get hammered but so what?

Similar issue, added to the fact that trains through Huddersfield at the weekend basically don’t exist because of the TRU.

Any idea if we'll be able to get an extra ticket for the Semi or just our own? 4 of us are season ticket holders but 1 will be travelling alone so her son said he'll go

All ticket details revealed tomorrow apparently.

My lad and I have 40 aways in each and we want another ticket for our mate who is a season ticket holder with no aways so we can sit together - doubt I will be able to get them all at the start. :(

My guess is they'll go on sale to season ticket holders straight off as they know all are guaranteed, perhaps a small priority window for those who attended earlier cup rounds but no issue waiting if you want to sit together unless you want a particular block

A Man City lad I know reckons they won't get anywhere near selling out, shame really I'd rather see a full ground for the occasion

I appreciate the travel challenges but, for me, the most important thing is that it's on the BBC. I live in the Highlands of Scotland and in poor health so Wembley is not an option for me. Just delighted I can watch it live in my living room. Wish I could be there and I wish you all well. I have my memories of finals and semi finals to keep me happy. But not the Adrian Heath semi at Highbury. That was just horrible.

Tickets £30 up to £150 !!

I'll be interested to see how that breaks down in the different areas of the ground.

I'm susprised we are the Live on BBC 1 choice........maybe they fancy an upset 😉

With the current TV contract, TNT are showing both games and I think it is them rather than the BBC who had the choice of which game they would have exclusive rights to.  It seems they chose Chelsea/Leeds for that.

Good for us that it's on free-to-view.

I'd give all ST holders a couple of days to buy, then straight to members for a day or two and then open it up for ST holders and members to buy extra tickets for mates so more chance of being in the same areas or just straight to general sale. Man City fans ain't buying our tickets, they won't be selling their own allocation.

No restricted sales that we've had in the past, not needed.

Come on Saints, 'win it for Ballboy' among other things.

Very kind.

I still share your pain and anguish over 1984. One of my worst moments when that  little runt scored near the end.

1986 was a different beast for health reasons as well, stood there nearing the end of normal time thinking I just want someone to score and finish the match rather than another 30minutes. I felt numb to the resuit.

Chelsea in 2018 or whenever we didn't expect anything from that match with some of the crap we had in the side, and the Leicester SF doesn't really exist in my mind.

Stamford Bridge 1976 and  Villa Park 2003 were of course on a different stratosphere. Just hope we can experience the euphoria of those two again.

Previously they have given a short priority window to ST holders who have done 1/2 home cup games this season, but I really don’t see the need this time around.

I hope they just open it up to ST holders only for 2 days, followed by members and then ever so slightly restricted general sale. I think it’s important we sell out

I think I was in Block 524 for the JPT final - I didn't mind being up that high. Though I did spend a lot of time people watching instead of fully watching the game. I can go to this one, which is rare, so I hope I can get a ticket with just one home fixture I've been to this season and membership. I see people saying that anyone that wants a ticket will get one so that's comforting. I plan on coming alone anyway because I'm billy no mates. 😁

Same here, as I live in North Wales I'm a billy no mates when it comes to watching the saints.

Only reason to sell in  stages is to give the "more loyal" (sorry shitty term) fans better opportunity for the "better" tickets. i.e. safe standing and behidn the goal bottom tier.

Personally I hope it's pretty relaxed as 6 of us often go together but my dad doesnt have half the aways that others have due to living in Devon. I would prefer him to be sat/stood with us rather than on his own/not all together.

Can members buy tickets together?

Details tomorrow but if you have them in your friends/family list I don’t see why not.

Last train back to Sheffield is 21:35. which would be fine if it's decided in normal time.
