musesaint Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago And 300 pages up now on the Spygate saga. 400 coming up once the sanction is finally announced. 😬

Pompey Takeover had one as does Spygate but not Defectors or Injuries. It would help my appreciation of this forum if I knew the difference between a thread and a saga.😀 Edited 5 hours ago by Tamesaint
LordHester Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago There was me thinking the name of the FA had something to do with football, when it actually reflects what they do sitting around all day.

saintant Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Anyone know if Tonda is back from Germany? I'm assuming he would have gone home last week to see his wife and baby. Has he been seen at Staplewood? Asking for a friend.

BallBoy Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The irony is that the FA are set to make Tonda accountable for his actions. Yet they are accountable to nobody for their own inaction. 1

Tomorrow afternoon after a long lie-in would be my guess. I don't see it being before the Pompey game. It'd be carnage if the bad news comes out before the match.

trousers Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) I know that comparing Tonda's misdemeanors with other transgressions is frowned upon by some of the Saintsweb intelligentsia, but what's worse..? Sending an intern to film an opponent's training session, or assaulting a child spectator...? Edited 1 hour ago by trousers
Pamplemousse Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Went down a bit of a rabbit hole on the FA website. This isn't the first time Tonda has been charged with the FA - he got done for being part of a mass brawl 5 years ago https://www.thefa.com/-/media/files/thefaportal/governance-docs/discipline-cases/2021/the-fa-v-stoke-city-fc-barnsley-fc-and-others-27-september-2021.ashx "TONDA ECKERT 23. We are unanimously of the view that TE’s part in this incident was the most serious. His behaviour was aggressive and violent from the moment that he confronted DH. He slapped DH and later had his arm around someone else’s throat. Therefore, we must take a higher starting point in his case. In his favour we take account of his previous good record, genuine remorse, and admission of the charge. Therefore, our starting point is a four-match touchline suspension and a fine of £4,125. Taking account of the mitigation and admission we reduce that to a three-match touchline suspension and a fine of £2,750." Hope that previous charge doesn't count against him, but it might do Edited 1 hour ago by Pamplemousse

Can see why he was punished for this.

The police were involved and no charges were made but apparently there was an out of court resolution between Bielik and the fan.
