Had no idea that BBD and THB are the best of friends.

Cant work out a club link from the past other than knowing each other at our club.

Praying that don’t signal THB looking for a move away if BBD moves on.

They were at Blackburn together weren’t they?

In the right role BBD really is a solid, double digit Championship striker. If Tonda can figure out a way to use him then having him as an option up front really isn’t the worst idea. It’s not like Stewart ever banged in 20 goals for us.

BBD could use the space left behind by Archer, maybe

BBD will still go if the offer is right and we can then replace him (shouldn’t be hard), he’s just part of the squad for now as there’s no benefit to him or us to not being involved at all.

He wants to move back up north.

Weird, that's further from Chile.

Didn't take long from Dragan Solak promising we were going to build a team that will "take you out of your seats" and win promotion, to trying to convince ourselves that Brereton Diaz will be fine.

BBD is fine for the championship, yes?

To be fair he has got a lot of fans up off their seats: if you include standing up calling him a c*nt.

We have this hysteria every year and every year most of the business is done towards the end of the window. For example last year we signed:

Fellows, Azaz and Jander: 29th August

Scienza: 1st September

and nearly every year we have a shite start to the season. Last year being a brilliant example.

We have a stronger squad currently than the one that just went 21 league games unbeaten, knocked the English champions out of the cup, and nearly dumped Man City's "galacticos" out of the fa cup semi final at wembley (only really losing to a deflected outside of the box bouncing shot deep into the game...

True, but usually we have a shit load of outgoings of major players and the manager. Not the case this year so no need to panic.

It's ingrained in us! But I actually think we might do a bit better at the start of this season because we are on -4 points. I think we'll be keen erradicate that as soon as possible. Plus we have managerial stability for a change (unless the EFL balls's that up for us) and we have largely the same team as we finished the unbeaten run with last season (and would have got promoted with I am sure) with the addition of Dobbin in lieu of Stewart (pending the departure of Charles I guess). I am hoping for a decent start. The Carabao doesn't particularly matter (although a cup run would be nice).

The game at the weekend offers a bit of a soft landing I guess, despite it being in the cup. More like a competitive pre season friendly in some ways.

It's an absolute shit show again isnt it

Stewart thinks Swansea are a better option than us!
Missed out of Evan Ferguson, Dan Neill, Ballard, Lankshear,
Gave it all the talk about holding out for 30m for Charles but then in true Saints style bent over and sold him for loads cheaper

We've had to spend 11m of Peretz and Larin just to stand still, did we learn NOTHING from doing that in the premier league?
The only signing we've made is some unproven kid who struggled last season at Preston!!

Lots of talk from the club but very little ACTION AS USUAL!!

Im VERY worried.

Yeah I quite like the idea of starting the season this way. A bit more competitive match fitness before the main season begins.

Absolutely this. I’ve already torn my season ticket in half.

What a typical SWF overreaction. Players like Sugawara, BBD, Baz and Larios are not only like NEW SIGNINGS, they are FINE for the championship!!!!!!

And we still don't have top of the range Dyson Airblade hand dryers in the toilets. Wankers.

Can't believe we didn't have a go for Vini Jr when the Arsenal deal fell through. He'd have been perfect for us.

We probably decided against it as we already have BBD who can play in that position. He may not be perfect, but he’s OK

If you stick a couple of "C's" in OK, you get COCK. This is a scientific fact.
