saintjay77 Posted 6 March, 2009 Author Share Posted 6 March, 2009 why are none of the players wearing any?? surely asking for unnecessary injuries? I played 5 a side with the work bunch once and one pansy in the changing room joked at my crappy trainers and lack of shinney's while he put on his shiney new indoor footy rebook super poof thingys and his super duper ribbed for her pleasure shin/ankle/legwarmer shin pad thingys 5 mins into playing he tried showing off by keeping the ball up in front of me while i swung and missed the ball. (i know im crap at footy) next time i swung i wasnt aiming for the ball (red mist got the better of me) and within seconds he was laying on the floor holding his nice shiney shin padded leg. taking it out at the end of the game 2 of the ribs were now in 2 peices and he had a bruise like you woulndt believe. lol He laughed at my lack of kit no more

Victor Posted 9 March, 2009 Share Posted 9 March, 2009 As the last spare ball flew over the fence Sagan and Chris wondered just what on earth they would use now... Patterson had an idea... Presumably not this Sagan, but she certainly has a lot in common with many footballers ..... "She was once involved in a car accident in her Aston Martin sports car, which left her in a coma for some time. She also loved driving her Jaguar automobile to Monte Carlo for gambling sessions. Also, in the 1990s, Sagan was charged with and convicted of possession of cocaine. Sagan was, at various times of her life, addicted to a number of drugs. She was a long-term user of prescription pills, amphetamines, cocaine, morphine, and alcohol."

Fair point and I never looked at it like that. I just figured he bought some flashy shin pads that looked great but were pretty useless. I didnt hit them that hard to be fair and I didnt have a mark on my shin at all. lol

saintjay77 Posted 9 March, 2009 Author Share Posted 9 March, 2009 why would you have a mark on your shin saintjay? Cause me not wearing any shin pads swung (for the ball-ish) and connected with the other guys shin. Shin to Shin. The amount of damage he recieved you would have thought i might of at least had a bruise. Like I said I put it down to him being a flash git with all the super duper kit to make him look the part which actually did nothing to help him when it mattered. I actually think he would have gone down the same had my 5 year old son tackled him lol
