I'm in the Keegan school of football, score more goals than your opponent does ... so McQueen for me, far better going forwards.

Very true! One thing to note, I did see JWP getting feisty again with someone, think it was towards the end. I like this element in his game as he's not the hardest player (mind you, who is now, those days have gone), but he's not going to allow himself to be a pushover as he was perceived to be in the past.

This. Plus the Leicester one has p*ssed me off. Monday f**king night. Still, one good thing, with all these weird game moves and kick off times, we'll never sell out so won't need to expand. Floodgates opened ...

Both candidates are utter morons. However, it would be amusing if Trump wins now, just to watch the complete meltdown from all the people who will be OUTRAGED, as usual.

This. All this rubbish about needing the pay because it's a short term career blah blah blah. Well how about like most people they buy a NORMAL house, with 1 or 2 cars (not over the top) and SAVE the rest of the money in investments etc. Isn't this what most people do? Of course those lucky enough to be able to buy a house and car I mean.

Exactly this, I think it'll be very tight. Burnley are no mugs. We'll be last on MoTD

To be fair though, I don't understand some people can't have a purchase history?! Unless I'm being oblivious to something obvious? -
Ah yes, he's very interesting with lots of possibilities

Tiemoue Bakayoko... Monaco Defensive Midfielder
Patrick Bateman replied to spyinthesky's topic in The Saints
He's not good enough for us. My Uncles is a season ticket holder at Monaco, said he's massively overrated and they can't wait to offload him. I checked on Football Manager when he told me, think his stats are too low, we'd definitely need someone with more pace and heading. -
This. I think we'll beat this current Leicester this time round. Or at the very least get a point.

I'm annoyed I've used all my work holiday and really wish I was going to this one! Enjoy mate!

Les Reed talks Foreign Player Quota & Scouting Street Football
Patrick Bateman replied to SuperSAINT's topic in The Saints
Exactly this! I grew up in a dead end road in the mid 80s, we used to play British Bulldog, ride bikes, play football & cricket, the lot ... all in the street, with no fear of being run over. I wouldn't let my son do that now, too many HUGE cars being driven carelessly with w**kers on phones fiddling with controls and at speed. More deliveries too. And yes, more awareness of weirdos rather than just the odd weird house you used to avoid going near. Also, I saw some lads kicking the ball in the park though the other weekend, which made me smile as again, you don't often see it enough as presumably they're sat indoors playing bloody football manager instead of kicking the ball around!? -
Much much much better. Pretty good UX design there - it works nicely for me and is much better to read.

Can you blame them? From what I read (I wasn't there), it sounded like some horrendous experience with people wandering around most of the match looking for hot dogs and popcorn. I think they've royally f**ked up that move and totally misjudged what most football fans are. In that statement I include 'lads' who go, old men who go AND families that go. Who wants to go along and eat bloody popcorn and have people wandering around all match going back and forth buying the stuff. Just get behind the team, TRY to build an atmosphere and support. Again by the sounds of it, our fans managed to create an atmosphere yesterday? I think they'll struggle with the new fans walking around buying popcorn. So whilst it seems an odd point to raise, I do get it.

Very satisfying coverage for a change, also good for 'boro fans now - so far a well produced program, hurrah, they're learning.

Didn't expect anything less - it's the Olympic stadium. An excellent stadium and was awesome for the athletics, but not a football ground.

I was pleased to see that as well. Although am I odd to read this fro the dreary BBC, which annoyed me? 'Former Liverpool striker' FFS! "Cardiff City came from behind to stun Rotherham at the New York Stadium thanks to a Rickie Lambert double. The former Liverpool striker scored twice in five minutes to ease the pressure on boss Paul Trollope."
