  1. It's a strange one. All but the odd owner has brought misery and club reincarnation. Now they have an almost half say in the club, feel a connection with the club through the PST shares. The club is doing well in league two, why risk a possible adventure to the Championship which could bring back the cycle of debt and club rebirth?
  2. I went for the top selling item in the end. Couldn't resist!
  3. Should know more later today as he was due to have a scan after the inflammation has subsided. Initial estimate yesterday was 2-3 weeks. The scan should confirm or extend that.
  4. It depends on the content of the code. If it's anything like the one where I work, he could be out having had discussions or not reporting it through the appropriate channels. Not until the full transcript is made available can a judgement be made.
  5. I presume the club have a code of conduct which all employees agree to and would cover bribery and bungs and such like?
  6. The teams! Hapoel Beer Sheva: Goresh; Vitor, Taha, Tzedek; Bitton, Radi, Ogu, Melikson, Korhut; Maranhao, Nwakaeme. Subs: Haimov, Buzaglo, Ben Sahar, Hoban, Broun, Ohayon, Shabtai. Southampton: Forster; Martina, Yoshida, Van Dijk, Targett; Romeu; Clasie, Hesketh, Ward-Prowse; Redmond, Long. Subs: McCarthy, Cedric, Tadic, Reed, Stephens, Hojbjerg, Olomola. Referee: Stefan Johannesson (Sweden).
  7. Allardyce phones up Direct Line for a car insurance quote... "fully comprehensive Sam ? "no just Third Party thanks.....
  8. So if there was a player that was third party owned which he picks for England, his value would go up. The company would then cash in on his rise in value... All thanks to Sam in helping the company find investors and directly affecting the player value while getting paid by this other company. Don't you think there is conflict of interest? Third party ownership of players was banned in 2008 by the FA and 2015 by FIFA. Sam, was advising how to get around these rules. Sam is employed by the FA who introduced this rule. Don't you think third party ownership should be banned? Sam mocked his predecessor and a few others employed by the FA. Not very professional. A minor point, but Do you think that attitude is right for an England manager?
  9. They have brought in about 8 players over the summer which is a lot and they seem to use a scatter gun approach to recruitment as they didn't get cover for their weak positions. Combined with a new home ground and injuries or delayed return of essential players have all made an impact.
  10. If you could link to your SISU assessment that would really shut people up.
  11. Do Newport have a separate Trust? We don't know how much PFC have in the bank only the supporters group (trust). It's a question of whether they kept the money in the bank in case supporters want to relinquish their membership and ask for the money back. Or use it to raise the holding in the club from the 48.5% they currently have. Can the trust sell their holding in PFC?
  12. What have Pompey done to you this time Mack?
  13. Not a fan of bayesian statistics then?
  14. There's always golf and the nfl apparently.
  15. Puel said of Jones’s visit: “It was a good meeting, a good man, and a good trainer. It’s interesting to meet him, and to discuss together, for example, tactics in playing rugby. There’s a similarity with football. Read more at https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/sep/14/eddie-jones-southampton-claude-puel-sparta-prague-europa-league
  16. Not as interesting as motion 2.3. That is so secret it hasn't been included. So they are have their own 5 year plan from 2016. I wonder if it mentions gaining promotion from league two and how they hope to achieve it? Or is it specific to PST sphere of interest and accountability?
  17. To re-establish the academy to first team pathway. To keep finances within our means. To build partnerships across the world. Increase commercial revenue. Of course many fans know what's best and how much money is available and have come out with a strategy of wanting more players for the first team which are affordable and willing to join the club. So understandably it is frustrating.
  18. Osvaldo was and is a complete côck and shouldn't have been signed. Gaston was worth the risk and it was a shame it didn't work out.
  19. Ninth for Saints. Title going to Manchester. Tough call for relegation.
  20. Agree... As long as the team stick together.
  21. Only perhaps following him out of the door.
  22. I can recommend going to the state opera house, lovely place. I saw Tosca there a few years back. Great performance.
  23. Or understand the club and what it's trying to do.
  24. I'd like to think the club have an eye on the lower leagues for players that CDAJFU if it's the case of developing a player into a starting position short to mid term with the current starting line up internationals we have.
