  1. Excellent news... got a feeling this kid is going to make it.
  2. That would be great. Thanks.
  3. I hope he can find the betting slip. I wonder what the odds would have been?
  4. Go on then, as long as I can have the bag on Sunday and Wednesday.
  5. I like what David has put in trying to turn it into something you want to do, otherwise maybe use the suitability versus eligibility angle to persuade them it's not for you but can see their reasoning.
  6. Inspired by Eurovision songs!
  7. Money
  8. Pony
  9. No you haven't, there will be one set of rules replacing another set. For example there will be a limit on squad size, abolishing the loan system. It will be a bit chaotic to start with but it could be good for us, holding on to players a bit longer as long as they play, compensation for development and maybe cheaper tickets!
  10. The same as it would be now. At least it would be transparent on what his next step could be, the club receives compensation and it's all amicable. Alternatively, the contract runs out and speculation and uncertainty deepens until Ron leaves. It's not ideal for the club but neither is losing a good manager in similar circumstances as MP.
  11. Either that or have some kind of get out clause if Holland or a big club comes calling. Koeman then has the security of a longer term contract and avenues out if he's doing well.
  12. So £1m from the tesco deal according to the Guardian... http://www.theguardian.com/football/football-league-blog/2015/sep/13/conor-chaplin-portsmouth-barnet-martin-allen
  13. That's the socialist way... I'm here to put my thoughts forward, choose me if you like them. He's not one of those who is 'in it to win it' like Blair and by the way here is what I might do policies. It will be interesting to see if he changes approach or keeps to his principals when pressured from the Unions and the New Labourites who will like him to dictate accordingly.
  14. Well Said. Nice to have a choice across the political spectrum.
  15. If we go South American again, then perhaps Gerardo Martino will be ready after his stint in Spain.
  16. 0 - 0 it will be then.
  17. I'm worried about that now, although I'm sure things will get better. Big expectations on Clasie's shoulders to help the midfield. Why can't we at least defend and be well organised? I thought that was the purpose of the playing philosophy regardless of age group, all playing the same way easy to move up, players now what they should do and their playing partner. Something isn't quite right.
  18. Worried, they seem too well organised for us. Perhaps we can take a leaf out of their book and score from a set piece and sit back.
  19. He'll need plenty of game time under his belt as I think he'll play a lot more next season when the next batch of Saint leavers go (i.e Wanyama). It will be interesting to see where Clasie will play as a few have put him in front of a DM pairing... will he be the transition player with his accurate passing turning defence into attack?
  20. It is a shame we cannot hang on to players so I'd prefer to get more money out of the buying club as the damage to repair the team is greater for us. We get top prices, but I think we need top top prices, after all they can afford it.
  21. No, it's relative velocity which is both the same for you and the train (i.e the same force). If the train was accelerating and you jumped would you land at the same place?
  22. An incidental piece of information, Informed consent forms are written so that a twelve year old can understand them unlike Insurance policies. So assuming he's older than twelve, he'll know what he's getting in to! Nice painting, perhaps frame a small piece and leave it as a reminder.
  23. Yes, agree with the assessment. The past seasons it seemed the attitude was all wrong and they didn't know why they were struggling, as if turning up was good enough. This season it seems they have got some kind of plan to get promoted and are deservedly favourites to go up with the squad and manager they have. We'll just have to see if they can cope with the pressure that expectation of promotion can generate, after all, it took Bradford a while to get promoted with their greater resources than the rest of Division Four.
  24. Nice one Mr Crouch. Does he still attend games? He used to have a box, not sure now.
