Yep would not surprise me if they try and say something like that, they can't have it both ways though as we didn't get a reduction when we went up for getting 4 games less, nor did they stay the same for getting 4 games less - they put the prices up .
-
Yep, sometimes out ticket office beggars belief. Only taking 900 tickets for Liverpool the other season, sending back 500 tickets for Arsenal this season as soon as it was announced that the game changed from a Monday night to a Sunday. And they should of allowed Season Ticket holders and members to buy extra tickets. As you say they would know who the extra tickets would be allocated to. How many extra of the remaining 7000 we would have sold though is another debate.
-
Harry Magiure cost the same as Hoedt - I know which one I would rather have in my team.
-
The fact is, if it were the other way round then we would be taking the **** out of them. We wouldn't care how much tickets were or what the criteria to purchase one was. In the end they sold out for their semi finals and finals so unfortunately have the right to take the ****.

(If we go down) what will you miss about the Premierleague?

£30 cap on away ticket prices. -
Its quite clear we are not going to sell out. People will have their own reasons why they are not going which is up to them, but just maybe our fan base is not as big as some think it is. I've always argued with Pompey fans that we had a bigger fan base then them, and without checking the prices, when they played Spurs in the 2010 semi-final they sold their allocation of over 30,000 this, despite the fact that the experts said they had no chance and the fact that they were going down that season too. Same scenario as us this season....
-
Correct , the league we are going to be playing in next season. Though If Saints are going to be as good as Fulham next season is a different question .
-
It probably would, it isn't going to happen though
-
Yep 100% We have won one cup in over 130 years.
-
You are too negative, I dont think we will go down again next season! Though it might be close...
-
I don't necessarily think it about having a chance or no chance of winning unfortunately now some fans don't see winning a cup as important compared to the league. A couple of people iknow prioritised Swansea away in the league (an evening game as well) to the EFL semi-final at Liverpool. A few seasons ago under Pochettino some of our fans said they would rather finish 6th in the league than win the FA Cup. ****ing crazy if you ask me.
-
Very true, which is why you wouldn’t get very rich if you backed Saints to go down .
-
Couldn't agree more. The arrogance of the board have got is relegated, last time it took us 7 long years to get back. There really are no excuses for Krueger and Reed to have taken us from the position we were in to the championship in such a short space of time. They have to take full responsibility after all they rightly took credit when we were finishing 8th,7th,6th and 8th.
-
There has been no evidence what so ever in 31 league games that this team have the fight, belief or good enough to stay up. Call it all you want, but it is not being negative its facing the facts that are staring us right in the face.
-
Having players like Stephens and Redmond is one of the reasons why we are in the **** - Players in our 1st team who are not premiership quality.
-
Was relegation a price worth paying for not getting rid of the clown sooner? No. The club should have sacked him in December to give a new manager a chance and let the new manager buy his own player.
-
Yes agree, the atmosphere at St Mary's (and away from home) is far from toxic. No idea why some say it is - maybe they don't go. They certainly couldn't have been at the Dell under Branfoot or at St Mary's when Lowe was in his last season.
-
At least now the players actually realise they are in the **** and in real danger of going down. It was only a few weeks ago the thick ****s were still on about qualifying for Europe again.
-
No, we wont go back up we will be more likely be nearer the bottom than the top. I think we could be in serious financial difficulties too. We have signed players on long contracts on big wages and i'm not sure who would take any of our hands. I am also not convinced the club put a relegation clause in the contacts as I think the club were so arrogant that they thought we wouldn't get relegated. Then there is the much publicised loan our owner took out to buy us.
-
Yep that’s the way it reads to me .
-
Its all here: https://southamptonfc.com/matches/2017-18/fa-cup/chelsea-v-saints-2018-04-22/ticket-info It states clearly that you can buy a membership after 18th march and get a cup semifinal ticket.
-
Yes i dont think we will sell out either, looking this morning on the ticket site there is good availability in the bottom tier in all blocks other then those down the sides. And the top tier hardly any have been sold at all with one more window of season ticket sales before opening up to members - not sure how many members we have. There is one part of the ticket sale schedule that might help sell a few tickets: Thursday 12th April (9am) – Supporters who have purchased AT LEAST THREE qualifying fixtures against their Supporter Number OR Official Members without a purchase history. Anybody could by a membership today and get a cup semifinal ticket on Thursday.....
-
Have you tried looking on the clubs official web site ? I’m not certain, but I would have thought it would say stuff like ticket prices / on sale dates etc
-
Two games against Chelsea, which is more important?
IFHP replied to OttawaSaint's topic in The Saints
Cup for me. To win win the cup would be something special. plus we have 7 other league games to get enough points to stay up. -
We have returned a block to Arsenal , seams a bit premature as although tickets have been on general sale there was still 3 weeks to the game and with it being on a Sunday more fans may have been able to go. Sold out now.
