  1. I think Brighton look pretty good, albeit form is temporary. Burnley sound like they're a mess, I could see SD walking and them dropping like a stone. I would say them and Fulham and West Brom is a safe bet, expect Wilder will graft SU out of trouble.
  2. One reason why I'm confident our transfer dealings will improve is because we have a top manager who genuinely develops players. I know we've bought some dross over the years but it can't have been easy coming in with Puel, Pellegrino or Hughes waiting for you.
  3. I would have thought we're well covered at CB, fairly well covered at RB (albeit would be a bit of a drop if KWP were to get injured) and a bit thin at left back.
  4. Left back?
  5. Suspect footballers might be a bit wary booking private jets post Sala
  6. I'd say 60k pw, no fee, for a reasonably proven premier league attacker + nostalgia is worth a go. Hopefully can bring some experience/mentoring for the likes of Obafemi and Tella. Then if he's great, he's available on a free next year.
  7. Wouldn't mind Walcott as long as we don't pay through the nose. He could play either wide or up front, I wonder if this may pave the way for Obafemi to go on loan.
  8. According to wiki he only played 13 times last season
  9. Some good news on Diallo

    Sloe Gin

Planning on making Sloe Gin for the first time this year, just need to find some bushes around Croydon.
  11. By the sounds of it, he actually did pretty well at Milan after a slow start - less sure on Monaco. If we could actually get him it would be an incredible signing IMO.
  12. Ha! One thing that might not play out. At least he had opinions.
  13. I really enjoyed Carl's coverage last year, loads of insight, humour and engagement - one of the main reasons I signed up to the athletic. Been a bit of a drop off and I'll likely not renew.
  14. I'm probably being a bit slow, but is there a way to stream it through an Xbox or through my Sky TV?
  15. He was growing in to quite a player during the 12/13 season, then had a badish injury and it seemed to stop him dead in his tracks. Been a sort of "Ok" player ever since.
  16. Are Spurs a better prospect then Wolves at the moment?
  17. Yep, this "interest" will be to plant the seed for next summer, sadly.
  18. RLC is very good, but isn't he more of an attacking midfielder? I'm sure he played behind the striker for Palace.
  19. Apart from their names, I believe Lerma and Lemina are very different. Lerma is a proper destroyer type, gets yellow cards for days. I think he could be a very clever signing and from the way Bournemouth are selling, I suspect they need lots of cash coming in.
  20. Huh? Happy to answer it but at no point have I ever complained about it.
  21. Can one of these free speech cheerleaders actually explain what they think free speech is and where any hypocrisy has been shown?
  22. I'd actually quite like to see Valery given a go on the right of the attacking midfield 2. He was very good at wing back, just not good enough defensively in a 4.
  23. Whilst I'm not sure this directly responds to my point, the fact that not every country "mandates" the wearing of face masks is different to countries supporting the science that face masks reduce the spread of the disease - I think anyone who's attended a year 6 science level can figure that one out. Have any of those 76 come out saying they disagree with the science?
