  1. Yeah that's pretty much it. So much sideways passing yesterday hoping for an opening which never came, constant passing back and re-building until the crowd start to jeer, then they lose it and Chelsea cut through us.
  2. I didn't, no, sorry, was he that bad?
  3. Why am I not surprised? Shameful. From 'Forever a Bluebird' to 'Never a Bluebird'. Hope they are charged interest on top for late payment.
  4. Clyne? - yes, but only if and when Cedric were to leave - £5M Wanyama? - nope, Spurs fan in the office says his legs have gone and is just a water carrier now Cork? - 100% yes, big fan - £10M Schneiderlin? - not sure - £7M JRod? - yes, if he gets his hair cut - £7M Walcott? - lad can't stay fit, my standard £7M Chambers? - yes, based on utility value - £10M
  5. You obviously didn't see Danso at LB vs Bournemouth?! He was playing right in front of me, and was rightly hoiked off at HT. He's a CB or he's nothing at all. Bertrand and Valery/Cedric every time.
  6. Yes, that has been reported today here too.
  7. I agree with the OP. Our best two CB ARE Yoshida and Bednarek. Best LB IS Bertrand. I'm undecided on the RB position, whether Cedric or Valery. As for Danso, he looks poor. Not sure what position we bought him for. He definitely not a RB, looks slow at LB and doesn't impress at CB.
  8. McCarthy Cedric Bednarek Yoshida Bertrand PEH Romeu JWP Adams Long Boufal
  9. Agree with posts 13858-61. We don't want or need an election at this time. Let's see what the current will of the people 2019 is, with a referendum based on revised cost of exit. Then the existing government will carry out the will of the people now. And yes, UJ is right, we need to set an approval level to leave, be it 55% or 67% etc. Otherwise, maintain the status quo.
  10. Looking like Kosovo will be more of a challenge than Bulgaria! They're unbeaten in a while. Hopefully some of the younger players get a game, rather than play the Dads Army team.
  11. You have to feel sorry for Matt. He was probably sold the idea he would be either first choice, or at least competing (alternating) with Taylor. I guess he has to wait for his chance, then take it.
  12. So we need a 2/3 (66.7%) majority for a General Election, but a simple majority over half (50.1%) wins Brexit in 2016? Hmm.
  13. Jake Hesketh gone to Lincoln on loan !!!
  14. Having to pay money in to the bank during banking hours (ie lunch time) - (1) the commuting time, then (2) standing in a line waiting for Doris to pay in £19.48 in 2p coins, then (3) standing idly while the cashier counts and verifies my slip for the money I counted out just hours earlier. Some cashiers even ask "and how much is there?" as if suggesting if I know the answer then they won't bother to count. You have to count it anyway, so why waste time quizzing me? My bank has now gummed shut the letter flap outside the branch stopping me from dropping my envelope with deposit slip and cash all bagged up into it on my way home from work. Yes, Barclays Winchester, shame on you!
  15. If the objective is minimum expense, then I present National Express Coaches..... OUT Southampton Coach Station 0850/1105, arrives London Victoria 11:10/13:35 - costs £6.30 RET many services, leaving Victoria 18:30/21:00/22:30 - costs £5.00 £11.30 plus the tube fare to Tottenham Have yourselves a Pukki-party on the cheap!!!
  16. However, I say to you: Continue to love your enemies+ and to pray for those who persecute you MATTHEW 5:44
  17. Guys, could you hallucinate for me? I just did a quick trainline : (1) SOU to LON inc travelcard - £47.50 (2) SOU to BSK £13.50, BSK to LON inc travelcard £30.90 = £44.40 I can save £3? I think you must have something more significant in mind? Thanks in anticipation.
  18. The pump doesn't (usually) recognise your discount vouchers eg 10p a litre off. Some pump payment systems are now including barcode readers. Yay!
  19. Haha, what is it with women? My wife does the same. She sees me put on the AC and still opens the window!
  20. Then we're cutting our nose off to spite our face. He is our only decent LB now Targett has gone. Who is the back up? Vokins? McQueen? We can't go on with make-do LB in Hojberg/Djenepo. Get in the office together, have a coffee and sort it out, rather than put him on the naughty step. That's man management.
  21. That's right. His reaction was one of "that's a shocker, he'll be off for that". Credit to the ref. When I first saw it in real time, I hadn't seen the impact on Valery's leg. The ref had - and had no hesitation in showing the red card.
  22. Then I'm on board. It seemed to work for the Leeds fella, at least until he confessed to having people tree-climbing.
  23. Queueing up to pay for my petrol at said station, only to find half of those in front of me came in to buy a chocolate bar, packet of crisps, a lottery ticket, a packet of fags, or some other item that they SHOULD have purchased from a supermarket. Hurry up, I need to get to work/get home.
  24. Has he? He is an assistant Coach, not Assistant Manager. Surely the hierarch is (1) Manager, (2) Asst Manager, (3) Coach, and (4) Asst Coach. Salaries will reflect that.
  25. How many coaches and assistant coaches does that make? I tried to read the article but I have to complete a survey about robots before reading. Are they all going to find a seat in the dugout on match days?
