  1. And you are ITK, so I look forward to it! Really this could be a nervy snoozefest, both sides trying no to lose.
  2. I'd agree with this. We keep playing the same 14 and keep getting poor results. Change it up!
  3. I have the email, I have my F&F supporter numbers, yet the website says repeatedly "only one ticket per supporter number." But I have used 2 different numbers for 2 people. Website malfunction? I'll have to call them in the morning and they go home at 5 !
  4. Ownership of the "goods" was with Cardiff. Title had passed. The ball was in Cardiff's court to register him, but he was no longer owned by Nantes. So Nantes surely have a right to settlement? As I said before, Cardiff may have a claim on another party following the AAIB review, but they can't deny ownership. They had ownership, if not control.
  5. I would have tried to get Billy Sharp back in. Next year we will see if he can cut it in the EPL. I was always a "yes, he could".
  6. I was getting it too, and proceeding to unsafe territory. Seems to be letting me go in unprotected today.
  7. I read Sam Gallagher to Swansea in Skysports Transfer Whispers this morning.
  8. Agree. They have lost the goodwill they accrued by their behaviour of late. It's going to take a while for the exacts facts to be laid out, so in the meantime they should do the honourable thing and pay Nantes. If later enquiries lay the blame at the agent or any other party, Cardiff can claim on them. But right now, settle the bill. In other news, according to a report I read, we are interested in signing the Nantes RB in the summer. Do you think they would deal with any English club now? Cardiff are bringing the game into disrepute.
  9. LOL, now I know you are about my age. The younger generation, eh. A few years in the services would sort them out.
  10. I did a predictor on excel for the remaining games for each team just now, and I have Cardiff going down, but Saints just above them. Probably because I saw how poor Cardiff were on Saturday and I can't see other opponents making it easy for them.
  11. Hopefully not. Although concerned he's not getting what he expected at Saints.
  12. Yes, this. Today we were back to where we were last season. We clearly expect the oppo to politely part the waves and let us through. That won;t happen. We have zero ability to get past a packed defence. Just back to the defender/goalkeeper and come forward again. Repeat and repeat. We need a playmaker (Lemina?) or runners (Sims?) We looked like scoring when Redmond and Valery ran through their defence. But no one had the balls to try that often. Depressed as everyone else. That's the performance that signals relegation. Cardiff were poor, we were abject.
  13. Sounds like Austin WILL be a definite starter. Then we need decent crossers of the ball to reach him. Long landed the last one on his head, so maybe him. JWP and Targett crossing from the wings? Redmond fizzing around the statue ... sorry, that's rude, Austin.
  14. That's a good point. Why didn't our giant volunteer to mark their giant?
  15. I agree. Liverpool for me ... unless Tottenham can somehow win every game from now while the other 2 falter under pressure
  16. Oh I think many have expressed their concern for this one. A revitalised and galvanised Cardiff side (after recent events plus Niasse coming in) and we are going to be missing one or two first choicers.
  17. Sounds like you are going to be right, Derry. Reports are referring to "spatial disorientation" which sounds like that which you experienced.
  18. He's 'one of us', so, by definition, has committed no foul.
  19. I didn't see a foul, and wish Stephens had kept his hand down. Appreciate he was trying to get elevation, but don't leave it up there. Now, even taking off the saints colored glasses, I didn't think the first one was a foul. Macca's momentum took him into Barnes' path, yes, and Barnes tried to hurdle him, so losing his chance, agreed. But not a foul as such, and I can't see how he can get away with abusing the linesman like that. It was WORSE then Zaha's hand-clapping the ref. Could and should have been a double yellow for that. Or are we saying that although you can't ridicule the ref, you CAN abuse the linesman without any punishment? On balance, yes, a draw was fair as they had more of the game, but to get to 93 mins in front, I though we were there.
  20. She actually used those words? "I'm freezing my tits off down here". We need evidence.
  21. Austin wants to stay in the Premier League. SFC want to sell rather than loan out. No Premier League club will (at time of writing) offer to buy him. We have a stalemate of Theresa May/EU proportions. Who will blink first?
  22. Do you have evidence of this? (the first part, as the second part is self-evident)
  23. Not time for him to go for and pass a medical, so suggest loan out or keep until summer. Decide now, Saints.
  24. 13:26 BREAKING NEWS Birmingham City have told Burnley that under the terms of their EFL transfer embargo, they are not allowed to sell Che Adams and then loan him back, and so they are not interested in doing a deal, Sky Sports News understands. Burnley were exploring that possibility as a compromise, so that Adams could be bought now, abut remain at St Andrews for the remainder of this season. Looks like this one is dead in the water. Or is it a ruse? Will we see him get out of a helicopter at the Grand Harbour Hotel later? #hoping
