Better late than never! I hope he goes on a prolongued, consistant, run of good form, more for his sake with the WC coming up, but also he could go on to be a massive player for us, especially if we can get him to click with Osvaldo. Will he stay though?

Best wishes to the chap. Well done to all involved. (Though a second Saints goal today would've calmed a lot of nerves and dodgy tickers...)

Sunderland (A) Arsenal (H) Fulham (A) Stoke (H) Hull (A) West Ham (A) Liverpool (H) Palace (A) Norwich (H) These are our next 9 Premier League fixtures, after that, the last 8 get a bit tougher. With all the injured players coming back, and the win today starting us off, how many points will we get for these 9 games? 12-14 for me, safety assured, then we can pick up whatever we can get from the last 8 as a bonus. Also, the more points we get before the FA Cup progresses, the more we can concentrate on that and less about the league. Positivity reigns!

A couple of months ago, this would have been an away banker, and we really should've got more than a point against them at home. Now Sunderland are a different proposition, and they had an important win against Fulham away today. I can see this being tough, but as long as we start strongly, with a team similar to todays, we can win it. A home win for Sunderland wouldn't be a shock - if I were going to bet on it, I'd go draw.

My favourite number is 2, and she is second to nun. :-D I'm ill with the man flu today, but if things stay this way, I'll force myself out to a lucky fag later.

Otherwise back to the strongest possible line up, Wanyama excepted. Good to see. As for full back cover, Cork and Yoshida have both covered them in the past, though God forbid if Shaw picks up his regular knock and the left footed Jos comes on at full back....

Win this, and we're 9 points clear of WBA. Lose, and they close Big game this if we want to keep ourselves isolated from everyone else around us! :-D

I'm watching the Wednesday vs Leeds game. Connor Wickham has been outstanding, I can't believe he's only 20. Definitely one for the future if he keeps maturing like this.

The other day I tried to find a stream of my own, and suddenly an undeletable warning came up saying the police had been called. Ignoring it, I just turned my laptop off and turned it back on again. Still no fuzz. :-) Still I best use one of your links for safety.

At what point are the club going to invest in Dyson airblades?
SNSUN replied to Tom8558's topic in The Saints
I read that as "No joop, no poop" and thought they were really playing hardball... -
Ramirez?

I always thought Aaron Martin looked OK in League One when I saw him. I fully expect him to ply his trade there more permanently when he leaves us. Not academy, but Richard Hall was only 19 when he joined us, and went on to do well for us. Before West Ham got their hands on him and his career ended prematurely.

I personally think this game has a draw written all over it, but with the injuries coming to an end, irrespective of their new manager choice, we have the ability to nick this. 2 winnable games coming up, and if we have ANY aspirations of keeping up with the top 8, we need to win both.

Was that Johnson backing off? Allardyce said he had a good game. :-D

Lallana's vs Burnley, if we go on to win the cup. :-)

FA Cup 4th round draw - Sunday 2pm - HOME v YEOVIL TOWN
SNSUN replied to The Kraken's topic in The Saints
Pleased with that. Good chance for the 5th round. (No disrespect to Yeovil who will be giving us as good as they get!) -

Not particularly though I've read all of this: http://underground-history.co.uk/front.php, mainly because I find history interesting and some of these stations are stuck in the time period from when they were closed. Occassionally the chance for staff to go down Aldwych comes up, but I've not taken them up on it yet. Some stations are there for all to see - Osterley and Spring Grove is literally 200 feet away from the "new" (current) Osterley, and you can see one from the other. Not much remains, the platforms are used as the cable runs now, and you can see which building used to be the booking hall, but that's about it. Now as for ghosts on the Underground - that's above my pay grade - it's the Supervisors that work nights that could tell you about one or two things they've seen or heard... :-)

A tough run of fixtures and injuries to key areas, that's our problem. We're still playing relatively well. Get the injured back, get the easier run of fixtures, and maybe add to personnel in one or two areas, and we'll be fine. Top 10 finish still on the cards.

In: 31st (Ooh keep us waiting...) Out: 6th (It'll be announced, though the deal will have been agreed on Saturday.)

This good enough? :-D

Superb modding on the cusp of a New Year. Big Brother is watching you! Happy New Year all! I'm home with my wife, and a ton of booze and snacks, and I couldn't be happier. (I'm officially old at 33.)

We found one of this season's best Premier League centre backs for a similar amount at the age of 24. Of course it would be pot luck or a damn good bit of scouting to find someone as good as Lovren has been but in attack, but it is doable. This is massively conflicting for a Saints fan! Let's hope it's all rumour. We're probably better off not having known this!
