  1. Anton (and his brother Denis) were in my year at school, and both are very nice, decent people. It's ben said however that their father has links to the Russian mafia. http://www.rumafia.com/person.php?id=204 I doubt it would affect Anton's chances of taking the club over though. Reading could be going places. Let's hope we remain the biggest club in the south of England. :-)
  2. At home, 2 hours after the final whistle.
  3. Good organisation. In the likely event Saints end up in the play-offs, we'll be regretting not having the same planning foresight as West Ham.
  4. You're not wrong... I had to do the same thing with the Reading match, and sped it up x2 whilst singing the Benny Hill theme tune, to keep things interesting!
  5. Win tomorrow for us and we can laugh all the way through that game, while still routing for Leicester out of spite. :-D
  6. I'm working as per, so I can't even watch this on the TV. I'll be Sky+ing it, ready to watch when I get home, and hoping no c*nt at work tells me the score!
  7. Rule 1.
  8. So if I lay on £50 million of my childrens inheritance, I get £1million profit when we get promoted? That's sums I like.
  9. I believe the team that is most likely to win the league before kick off get the proper trophy, and the other side use a replica. I may be wrong though. I assume this means Reading will see the real trophy before us. (We'll see it the following day, after it's been shipped to SMS to the winners of the league... :-))
  10. We need to strengthen more than 3 positions IMO, but the main positions are right midfield, central midfield and centre back. CB: Curtis Davies is the obvious choice, but I have an inkling that Birmingham will win the play-offs. If they do, then I'd rape West Ham of Tomkins. CM: Eek, umm, well Whittingham has been consistantly good for Cardiff, and score a fair few too, so him. RM: I see Adomah isn't even getting in the BC starting team at the moment, so Matt Phillips please. I'd say Chris Burke (one of the best players in the nPC) but I'm ignoring Brum, for the reasons stated above. God this is tough. So many good players. It depends on who we'd want to annoy. I'd love to sign a player from Brighton and West Ham, just to annoy them.
  11. At the moment we are, depends on our result against Boro. I'd love us to beat Boro and go into the last game with a shot at the title though. We'll be wishing Birmingham all the best!
  12. If we win this and we're 100% up, do we play the youth in the last game?
  13. I'll download it when we're 100% up and celebrating like Reading!
  14. Won more win! (See what I did there!) Even one point could do it if West Ham on win their games 2-0 and we draw one, lose one. I'll sleep well tonight.
  15. Congratulations Reading. If they win the title, they really are worthy winners, but we haven't given up yet! £100 million for promotion sounds great. We need some of that.
  16. Hey - my 7000th post. I'll use it to... w00T!!!
  17. Just one loss would do. Middlesbrough will be tricky but winnable and a deflated Coventry on the final day with a party atmosphere is more than winnable. Birmingham could well have my support on the final day...
  18. You'd be amazed at how many of my friends have come out of the woodwork since Christmas "supporting" Reading. Loads. Granted, I'm born and raised in Berkshire, as are most of my friends, but these are people that have never shown any interest in football before, let alone Reading. What's worse, is after Friday's result, I was getting stick from them. I just remarked that they could gloat had they supported their team since 1989. :-) Still, rather they went up with us than West Ham. Utter arrogance from West Ham fans this season. The job is still not done, but 5 points clear with two to go looks mighty fine...
  19. lol@Brighton blowing their play off chances too. Awful form this last week, which could've blown things for us.
  20. Great results - again West Ham can't win a game. One point and a better goal difference and we're up - or one win from two games. Now that looks a shed load better than it did before tonight's games - but it shows how quick things can change. COme on Forest!!! The title could still be won - Reading's last game against B irmingham could be our saving grace!
  21. Come on Bristol City! Not only could they do us a massive favour tonight, but they could also put Portsmouth down. Albert Adomah - you know what to do! (@wishfulthinking) Not too fussed about Reading vs Nottingham Forest, although naturally a Forest win would be celebrated in the SNSUN household. (Even by my Canary-supporting missus who wants us to go up so we can play them next season!)
  22. For the lower league levels we've been at, I think our full backs have been just fine. Blooding the youngsters will take some management though - especially if we're in the Premiership when we have to do it. Adkins has a lot of work on his hands.
  23. I just had a no wiper! I never get that lucky! Usually it's a real mess down there afterwards, to the point that sometimes I have to shower. That's got to be a good omen!
  24. I've decided I'm a wet fanny and am bricking it...
