  1. You're obviously new here aren't you...!?
  2. Sorry but rather an idiotic post. I know this, I know that, I know lots more than you - well good for you. People are commenting on what they do know. Everybody holds an opinion based on their knowledge of the situation - thats life. So, just what are you suggesting here - we close the board until you are ready to make us all aware of just what you know and then we can all start posting again - thanks for that, let me know when its open for 'business as usual' please. And just so that you are aware - there is no 'vendetta' against Marc Jackson - it just so happens that he is topic of the day in relation to our club. This is a club forum - hence people will discuss - once you have given them permission obviously.
  3. Phil I appreciate that you are friends with MJ, but please do not do us the disservice of intimating that we are unwilling to air our views 1 2 1 with MJ himself. I for one would like to phone him, thank him for his efforts, lambaste him for his media skills and management acumen, and ask him then to stick masking tape over his mouth on conclusion of our call. The only reason we debate him here, is because unlike you (I suspect), we do not have his personal mobile number or IM, not because we are hiding behind internet fascades. If you'd like to furnish us with his number - I'm sure that his phone will be ringing off the hook tonight.
  4. It didn't cost anywhere near that to produce FFS...!
  5. I don't give two hoots what the new owners change, the name the badge, who cares, just so long as the change the forward line, midfield and most of the defence too. Then I'll be well happy...!!
  6. This is how I see it too - I really hope that this is the case. Matt has done his bit for the club, and more. It is actually a very sad state of affairs that we have to turn to the guy who probably did more on the field to save us, and ask him to do it again off the field. But once again - it appears that Matt has come through. If he wants a place within the club, he deserves a position where he cannot be shot at, he has earned this right in my opinion. The club should recognise Matts iconic status amongst fans both young and old and do everything in their power to, yes use, but more importantly preserve. SFC do not have too many 'true' legends - and those we do have deserve protection. Matt for manager - not for me thanks - thats where the flak flys and the guy deserves none. Give him an ambassadorial role and pay him well, lets be honest - he stuck with us through thick and thin when he could have made big bucks elsewhere, it's the least he now deserves. For everything - thanks Matt.
  7. MJ should come with a Government Health Warning. Whenever anybody sticks a microphone or camera within 10m of the guy he blows it. He should not, ever, be allowed to speak to any media outlet. Let him get on with his bit in the background facilitating his consortium - but never should he be allowed to be the mouthpiece for any group of business people. Anybody who really thinks that he might represent some sort of saftey net, should our current deal fall through, should think again. Given some of the crass statement that he made in that short interview, I really dont see that his backers, the administrators or the fans would have that much faith in his ability to deliver. He would (should) have known, above all others, that the Pinnacle deal could fall through - therefore he should have put himself in the best position to take up the mantle and run with it - our saviour. Instead of insisting that he and his consortium are still united, have the ambition and werewithall, and are working towards a deal, all he achieves is further self negative comments which give cause for threads such as this. Methinks the saftey net is not as secure as others - I would not like to be the crash test dummy for this one. MJ's efforts should be applauded, but to my mind he is very Jason Euell'ish - he'll work his socks off to get in position, but there is no end product - couldn't hit a barn door from 5 yards.
  8. You are absolutely correct Stanley - the truth is indeed incontrovertible. But what is the truth? The 5 thousand (spurious figure, plucked from thin air) of boycotters (was there actually a recognised boycotte) have saved the club by not attending and thereby putting us into administration. a. Were there 5000 'boycotters'? b. Was there even any recognised boycotte? b. Are we saying that those that did attend games should not be thanked - because they gave their support to the club in dire times? The truth Stanley, what is the truth - who knows. Mind you - you carry on lording it with stupid threads that are a kick in the teeth to fans that went and supported. Claim the moral high ground if it gives you a hard on - but please spare us the sermons. Are we any nearer the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth or are we merely listening to some raving lunatic that posesses more ego than brain?
  9. Absolute comedy genius - ever thought about running for election, you'd be perfect.
  10. Right on... or whatever hip phraseology would look cool as a response to your point well made...!
  11. Calm down mate - we missed it, whoopee doo, we are old, grey and slightly senile, hence not qualified to moderate like your good self. Apologies man, apologies...!
  12. Didn't use it very much before - will probably use it even less now... it looks naff, probably because it is.
  13. Good to see that now we (potentially) have new owners - we the fans stand united once more... ohhh errr..... perhaps not then...
  14. Careful now - you're getting into the realms of reality. New owner, not willing to slash millions of pounds up against the wall in order to pacify cyberwarrier fans - whatever next. Can we just get back to the egotist cyberfiction where we are likely to win the champions league in a couple of years instead of all this common sence stuff that you are sprouting...!
  15. Exactly - am I right in thinking that Barry is fairly new to football, started with boxing and snooker. Perhaps he should look at the balance sheet of some of the big 4 (nay all..!) in the Prem League - see how much in the red they are and then dispose of the whole sordid bunch of drug cheats...! If he did - perhaps Leyton Orient might actually be top of the league. As for being labelled alongside druggies, he really should look a little further - there is some very dodgey money associated with the Premiership - so to be labelled in the druggie category is probably really a bit of a backhanded compliment - although Baz probably hasn't clicked just yet. BTW - any relation to Baz the Briefase...?
  16. In which case, he was eminently well qualified to use said statement - whats your beef...? !
  17. Ahhh nothing like a real cunnunderum (or something like that..!) to keep me awake for the rest of the night - thanks a million for that...!
  18. Sorry - who are...???
  19. And herein lies the root problem of bloody message boards and so called ITK'ers. Now is really not the time to be posting such shyte.
  20. If you found an apology in there then you are easily fooled methinks.
  21. Don't be stupid, everybody knows that was Gerry Rafferty, WTF would Rod be doing in Baker Street. FFS this is getting past a joke now...!
  22. NC, I'm beginning to like your tac here - Saints in NI permanently, now that I could go for - bring it on. Ohhh and if it happened - believe me, we would walk this league, no problem...!
  23. Errr sorry about this but as I'm not a 'racing fan' can you translate 'short neck' into 'millions of pounds' for me please - many thanks...!
