  1. Not in the pics either. They only want to know when it’s easy going. Spineless, poisonous, cowardly toxic bottlejobs
  2. Whimpering crybaby.
  3. Good luck Mark, do us proud.
  4. Birmingham City Big shot
  5. Yup, v Leeds. I was side on to that. Couldn’t believe my eyes!
  6. We will see a bit of fight, far better organisation and a noticeable difference in purposeful football, not stagnating sideways rubbish.
  7. Agree with that. I think he’ll be a good option if he’s willing to do a year in the Champ and we back him.
  8. Should have had the dignity to resign a lot earlier rather than be pushed at this stage.
  9. I have been not-so reliably informed it’s done, announced later today, assistants come with him, short-term deal, Big bonus for keeping us up. End of seasoned deal jobbie, but could go on longer, nothing ruled out. Basically all the sh1t u read in a paper yesterday
  10. You do realise that one or two poor stints over 15 years of management isn’t an indicator wholly of someone’s ability, don’t you? So much waahmbulancing on here ... you can guarantee it’d have been the same pant-wetting hysteria if it’d had been Carlos ‘sacked by a Championship club so cant be any good’ Carvahal or Sam ‘never been relegated but boohoo I don’t like his football teams’ Allardyce. Hughes is potentially a means to an end. That end is staying up. Will people just get over it, unify around the team and see where it takes us? We’ve got the first glimmer of f()cking hope in months and all I can see on here is braindead whimpering about someone who performed admirably at Blackburn, Fulham and Stoke before it went a bit stale. I swear some of the people on here have never played football before or understand the basics. If you’ve seen Saints this season, we’ve been utterly abysmal. Not unlucky, like some of the retards on Twitter have been saying. We’ve now got a faint hope now we’ve got someone in charge with a bit of know-how and a point to prove. It doesn’t have to be an undying love story, just a marriage that fits the purpose - and this temporary arrangement does. If you’re all gonna p1ss and moan save it for the close season and aim it at the board, who are fully culpable for the sh1tstorm we find ourselves in. I despair sometimes. Never any solutions offered up by the moaners, just crybabying. Someone please go find that disgruntled father and son ticket picture.
  11. If so many don't like Hughes, are there any better alternatives out there at this juncture in the season, honestly? Can't believe we've spent 7 months hoping to get rid of Pellegrino and now we have, we're turning our nose up at solid Premier League manager. I don't want him here long-term but with his record, we should definitely be a little more buoyed and positive for the remaining 8 games. Some proper whingey, dinny melts on here.
  12. Nailed it.
  13. 2 seasons too late for me. Abysmal keeper
  14. WGS with Garry Pendrey prowling around would be sight to see. That said, Pendrey is 69 now. Probably still has a formidable tache though.
  15. Hughes still lives in the north west so any deal will be short term, for those of you fretting his impending appointment.
  16. Tbf, Kelvins pretty qualified for a rookie. Not the right time for him at this moment though, definitely.
  17. Best thing he done was drop Forster and fluked his way into the FA Cup QF’s. That’s it.
  18. I agree his results are half decent but the style will be excruciatingly similar to puel and pellegrino
  19. You want more dull possession based football that goes nowhere then?
  20. If it’s Hughes, it’s mark Bowen, Eddie nzi... whatshisname and Kevin Hitchcock for backroom staff. That’s three goalkeeper coaches effectively
  21. Hopefully this w4nker will be gone before too long as well.
  22. It's just a faint glimmer of hope, but I am so f()cking elated right now...
  23. Delighted but way too late
  24. If by some miracle we stay up this season and pellegrino goes in the close season, what’s the odds that Les will dither around until July to find a replacement?
  25. Yup, true that... but this somehow feels far, far worse. And I think Wigley did OK in hindsight compared to Pellegrino, what with all the injuries we had at the time.
