That's pretty much it... I think we over-glamourise his few 'good' games for us (Arsenal away, twice... errrr.... any more?) and tend to kid ourselves that he's consistently been solid at some point in his career with us when the reality is, he's a had a solid defence and midfield in front of him for a long, long time and was relatively untested in a lot of games... but when he was, IIRC, there was always at least one cock up per game. Most of the time it led to nothing, so it gets airbrushed.
