Every two bit fact about Pompey players being given out by Sky commentary yet they’ve failed to mention Ings is born and bred in Southampton.....
-
Soccer Saturday - ex players Le Tiss, Thompson, Nicholas and Merson not allowed to watch their ex teams because of bias. Live Matches - forget the above, the more bias the better it seems. Ridiculous

You certainly can’t have Stephens and Vestergaard in the same defence ever !
-
No. No and No

RH is gonna destroy this lads confidence if he carries on playing him out of position. If he doesnt think hes good enough to play CB then why have we got him ? Its not like we are blessed with quality in that department. I see once again Yoshida has turned into a world beater for some through not playing ! Fact of the matter is he has always got one major error in him per game, sometimes we get away with it, sometimes we dont. Having said that I would rather have his one error a game than Stephens or Vestergaard alongside Bednerek. And that shows exactly how abysmal our defence is......and once again it hasnt been properly addressed ! Oh sorry, i forgot, the excuse now is a decent CB costs too much. As you were then

It’s a pity Ralph didn’t come out and say he’d ****ed up instead of trying to justify a car crash of a decision.

this, exactly right

to be fair after thinking about it yes you’re right, head and shoulders above everyone else. Really pleased for him too after the clown and Hughes treatment he got

You can’t drop Cedric after the way he played last night. -
Cedric was very good both at left back and right back but was better in his normal position. Romeu was outstanding and Boufal was very good. Redmond was ok considering the injury lay off. After that I’m struggling..... ‘’Ralph seems to want any defensive combo that doesn’t include Bertrand. Today’s was a car crash - a right back at left back, a centre back at right back even though in his last game he was left back.....I mean WTF? Interesting that Merrington said after Ralph’s interview that sometimes you have to hold your hand up and admit you were wrong. Unfortunately Ralph didn’t do that, he made excuses and that’s disappointing. Fully agree with Dave there.

wouldnt go that far but yet again he was up there as just about our best player tonight
-
yeah i thought that as well, 1987, but they beat us at their place and drew 2-2 at The Dell

This is what I dont get. Man City had a goal ruled out against Spurs because the ball brushed the fingernail of one of their players when a cross came in. Yesterday in both City's game and ours there were more "obvious" hand balls yet nothing given in either game. It seems like the refs it will be inconsistant which is what it was supposed to get rid of.
-
Yes he looked good in the highlights I saw. He's gradually getting there. He will score the winner against the skates and become an instant hero, his early season form will be brushed under the carpet
-
He looks like an attacking player to me not a bloody wing back. What a shame we haven’t got an ex England international on the bench to bring on
-
umm, so Ralph either knows something or he’s putting a bit of out there in public pressure on PEH.....

yes Lee Dixon is getting on my tits already moaning about the stadium. “No disrespect “, he added. No not much -
Given there are only 6 places between Huddersfield and Lincoln on the league ladder I suspect that’s the reason.

Bloody hell, if the unthinkable happens you better call the Samaritans if you feel that strongly

Trevor Brooking was heavily rumoured when Keegan was here, so him and Torre Andre Flo

yeah, didn’t Reading want ridiculous money for a player they didn’t really want ? Always liked him even though the brains trust on here insisted he wasn’t very good
-
Colleter was gone long before Strachan wasn’t he ? Played under Jones then Hoddle I thought.

yes, some players just don’t come off at certain clubs. I think that’s the case to a certain degree with Lemina and Hoedt although not totally. On paper they should have been good signings but for one reason or another that hasn’t happened. The two dreadful signings have been Carillo and Moi. I struggle to see anything in either that suggests they were good enough for the Prem
