hey I make no pretence at being able to spell and certainly don't think regurgitating Wikipedia quotes to thousands of fellow simpletons on twitter would make me some sort of lost genius. I am the pot calling the kettle a fancy pot.

I wouldn't want the weasel anywhere near our club even if he was Zidane good, he is a horrible, odius little man and his sudo intellectual twitter bollix just makes him even more annoying.

Blatter is bullet proof at Fifa as the football world outside Europe and North America loves him, he showers them with money and sells the world cup to nations around the globe so of course they will vote for him. I onlh ope that one day someone finds the smoking gun and managed to nail him much like I hope one day some catches up with Harry and proves at least some of the brown bag allegations. I won't however be holding my breath Blatter is rich and powerful and these people are notoriously difficult to catch!

And you'd think that Liverpool fans never sing a song about the Munich Air Disaster when they play Utd? Massive double standards but it's understandable as we all try to brush the bad bits of our histories under the carpet.

Such a good comparison, I think people forget how much quality we still had at the club when we were relegated! The best thing the club did this season that really sets it apart from that one was go out and get RK that was the moment for me that sent a clear message that the club wasn't about to implode. Like it or not he is a big name with a pretty decent record it was like chucking the sea anchor out suddenly everything was back in order even if it did take a while for the sea to calm! Compare that to the absolute mess we got into under Rupert and you can see the difference, stability and confidence comes right from the top and at the minute Saints seem blessed with the right people in the right places.

Think he's a little to good for that but I'd wish him well even if he did! Cracking player for us in the promotion from the Championship and an integral part of the most enjoyable part of our recent history for me. Sad that he wasn't quite up to the premiership standard but he's nothing like as bad as some have made out and I would rather a Jos character over Calum Davenport and Andreas Jackobsen any day of the week. Tuesday night lights cult hero will e the outstanding memory for me.

Is it wrong that I plan to let my son choose which ever club he likes and would actually rather he supported a local club than saints?

Rodriguez has returned - BREAKING: NEW CONTRACT SIGNED
a1ex2001 replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I'd add Crouch to that list, he wasn't here long but was outstanding, no disrespect to Jay who I also think is an excellent player and I don't think putting him in the same bracket as the players listed on this page is exactly insulting it's not like anyone is saying Uwe Rosler or Delgado were better! -
It's red and white striped and will be decent quality unlike this years abomination so I'm happy. Big surprise our red and white stripes look like others red and white stripes I really don't get how people complain about this after demanding red and white stripes lol. I would really like to see the club make a permanent switch to the sash kit we wore for the anniversary a couple of years back, it made us look different which would give the club an immediate identity.

With a fourth so injury prone he is making Darren Anderton look like a consistent performer, the Sturridge situation is reminding me more and more of the end of Pahars career where he just had a succession of niggles that never allowed him to play enough to get fit.

The Long Overdue Pointless 2015/16 (Adidas) Kit Thread

Have been hoping for the return of a sash kit but not convinced that green is what we were wanting! Will reserve judgement until I've seen the real thing as it may look less nasty in reality. Home shirt is fine, nice to see some proper stripes and a decent quality kit. -
I've said all along we should go for green if QPR get relegated but we should aim for a permanent signing not a loan, him and Forster fighting to be first choice would leave me feeling much better than the current setup and Green has shown previously he is happy to battle it out and not sulk.

Exactly the point people seem to have been missing all season Pelle is clearly a decent player who blows a bit hot and cold if he was permanently hot we ouldn't have been signing him for a small fee from the dutch league!
-
That's hillarious, love the semi serious response from Chesterfield bet there chairman was really like wtf no way you idiots!

I really don't get this attitude from Saints fans at the minute, none of our players have left because they were selected by England or because Steven Gerrard had a word or even because the other players told them how much they were on. Lets face it they and there agents will all know exactly what they could get elsewhere! The reason I and I assume others want our players selected by England is because they are damn good and deserve the recognition the trouble is they are damn good and other clubs recognise this Shaw didn't go to Man Utd because he played for England he went because they like us knew he was an outstanding prospect. I could see Bertrand or Forster amassing a lot of appearances while on our books and if we maintain our current form in future season more players will achieve a substantial number of caps and remain with us but it is dependant on us being a top level club and our ability to pay substantial wages.
-
I always think it is odd when a centre forward doesn't take them, he waits all game for an opportunity one on one from 12 yards so should be desperate to be first choice!
-
Lol dig out the thread that followed that game on here and if you said anything of the sort you were in a minority of about one alot myself included thought he would be luck to play for the club again he was utterly shocking that day and his reaction to having it pointed out to him by the paying punters many of whom had travelled the length of the country was pathetic. Like I say he's turned it round since then which is something he deserves credit for but to pretend his career here is blemish free is for me simply not true.
-
No hissy fits? You clearly weren't at Hillsborough when wednesday did us 5-0 or so with kelvin diving over three shots then giving the fans the bird when we took the ****! Has redeemed himself though and is clearly still decent.

I thought this must be, but apparently he is being serious: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32138409 This definitely is but I think it would sell: https://twitter.com/AndrewBloch/status/583155217572737024/photo/1

Pelle is a decent player in a bad piece of form it will come back. We do need to accept though that he is never going to be Ruud Van Nistlehorse clinical if he was that good he wouldn't be playing for saints! He may never have another run like he did at the start of this season but I'm convinced he will score goals on a regular basis for us.

Southampton interested in Newcastle GK Freddie Woodman
a1ex2001 replied to Lallana's Left Peg's topic in The Saints
There is no way on earth we are going to throw an untried 18 year old GK in as first choice at the start of next season it simply won't happen. -
Lol, that's simply not the case also note I didn't hype him up to the enth degree. If you read this thread a number of posters are basically saying he is rubbish which he clearly isn't and if you read this or any other football board on a regular basis you will find it full of people who clearly don't understand football! This Forum always has a player that is rubbish, normally a good player going through a bad patch or a decent player who isn't ever going to be Messi. PS have you ever phoned Talksport? ;-)

Not sure why he would come here to go out on loan when he is already sitting on Newcastles bench on occasion seems like a silly article to fill space, Arsenal and saints both need a goal keeper Newcastle have a decent youngster 2+2=6 and away we go.
