Nice work Chez - It will be interesting to see if indeed we get in any of the above in the next month

Why?

He always seems to be injured

Because he doesn't appear to be anywhere near the Stoke team; he has been loaned out to Sheffield United this season already so maybe we can get him on loan ourselves; he knows it's nice here.

Wow that must have taken ages to prepare - fair play Chez

perfect task to undertake whilst watching the Guns of Navarone with the world's worst hangover. Who said Guinness, whiskey, Jaigermeister and wine shouldn't all be drunk on the same night? They were right.

Not wishing to start an argument but I think that my name should appear next to Simeon Jackson.

Well it looks like he's almost certainly going. Question is - where?:

The transfer window reopens on Friday and Gills boss Mark Stimson is expecting offers for leading striker Simeon Jackson.

The Canadian has netted 13 times this season for the Gills and, at just 22, is seen by many as a star of the future.

Stimson believes only a limited number of clubs will be in the hunt but is prepared for the worst.

"If he goes we’ll be devastated but we will have to get on with it," he said.

"Gillingham will survive a lot longer than Simeon Jackson and Mark Stimson.

"If it happens they have to come through the right way and ask the chairman. If the chairman says a figure and they are prepared to pay it, then every player has his price.

"We don’t want to lose him because he’s a goalscorer but in the last couple of games he’s probably been off that.

"He had a couple of chances against Exeter where probably two months ago he would have scored but when there is a lot of speculation around you, sometimes it can maybe put you off.

"I would be surprised if teams don’t make an offer because the kid has the ability to go to the next level. There are probably only a certain amount of clubs who will and if you look at those clubs there are only a certain amount who can afford it – you are looking at three or four teams.

"If he doesn’t go, he just has to keep his head down like he has done since the day he came here, work hard and score goals and one day he will play at least Championship football."

I've heard that David Healy wants to leave Sunderland as I think that HCDAJFU as he knows Connolly and him and Lambert up front would be Quality but we will see!

Could you add that to the list please Chez?!

Thanks!

If there are more players that we could try and get then I will pass it on ;)!

COYR!

A couple of others taken from the BBC article on January Football Sales. They are all players that are likely to be leaving Premiership clubs.

Kerrea Gilbert - Arsenal

Danny ****tu - Bolton

Nicky Hunt - Bolton

Peter Halmosi - Hull City

Andy Griffin - Stoke City

Carl Dickinson - Stoke City

George Friend - Wolves

Out of these I think Danny ****tu and Nicky Hunt would be great defensive signings (although I'd imagine that they'd be a lot of championship clubs interested in them).

My lad went to school with him in Devon. Wolves signed him from Exeter as a full back. He's young, strong and got talent, but a bit too soon for the Prem. A Saints fan too!!

I can't remember his name, but I thought the Tranmere centre-back with the dreadlocks was a very good all-round player with a bit of pace.

ian Goodison. He was terrific in that game, great in the air and quick as well. I was amazed to find out that he was 37. He's been up there about 7 years. I can't see him leaving them now, he's their top earner and a fans favourite - I think he wins their player of the year award on a regular basis.

I particularly like the look of Patrick McCarthy....Centre Half at Chrystal Palace.

Suggested by Foxstone

Formerly at Charlton having been purchased from Leicester by Pardew £600,000.

Commanding/imposing centre Back..Now fully recovered from injury/

26 years of age....Could be the one...Palace need the dosh.....Long shot at same club Darren Ambrose ex Ipswich. Midfield and scores goals. 25 years of age.

No info on Craddock.

Inside knowledge Pards had Henderson watch Raynes early season.

Puncheon is a player Pards has admired publically.

The only info I have had was the Rooney approach which seems to of gone quiet.

I fully expect to see one of these in a Saints shirt.

Barnard

Jackson*

Rooney*

Puncheon

Whitbread

Raynes

Ward

Grant

* = snippets I've heard from ITK'ers & none of this Im actually claiming, this is my opinions combined with rumours.

Michael Raynes of Stockport is a good shout. Solid centre half and we linked with him in the summer I believe.

Michael Raynes is having a shocking year and most Stockport fans believe that he should be dropped despite being captain. He makes one big mistake per game - bit like a young Titus Bramble. However, he has had to play alongside a number of young CBs and might perform better with an experienced pro alongside him.
