alpine_saint Posted 19 July, 2010 Share Posted 19 July, 2010 Me mother tried to get me a new home shirt this week, when she bought my kids their kits. Now I admit to being a fat b*stard. I need a 48-50in chest, which I think is somewhere between XXL and XXXL. Apparently SFC have none, and Umbro have sold out, and its a 4-6 week back-order time. So come on then, admit it. You've all been eating too many pies, havent you ???
Matthew Le God Posted 19 July, 2010 Share Posted 19 July, 2010 Maybe it is the reverse! Saints fans are thin bastards and Umbro/Saints didn't see the need to manufactuture lots of XXXL shirts so any they did make sold out quickly to the small number of fat fans. Maybe Alpine, you are the exception to the rule!

Colinjb Posted 19 July, 2010 Share Posted 19 July, 2010 Rubbish. Saints fans are totally aware of sensible dietry routine and nutrition. Like many I religiously follow the five a day guidelines. One steak and kidney, one chicken balti, one chicken and leek, one bramley apple and one fish pie per day. Perfect.

niceandfriendly Posted 19 July, 2010 Share Posted 19 July, 2010 There's just no excuse. XXXL? Pathetic. Spend more time enjoying the Austrian hills and countryside rather moaning on here with an apfelstrudel or 10.

You've all been eating too many pies, havent you ??? There's no shirts to cover my exceedingly large frame - they must have sold out! That is actually quite funny. To be honest I don't mean to make fun but you've got to realise an XXXL isn't going to sell many so they wouldn't bother producing many - unless scouts want to use it as a tent. Flyer Posted 20 July, 2010 Share Posted 20 July, 2010 I wore a large in normal football sizes, then we got a lotto kit and had to move up to a xxxl and that still fits tighter than the old large. (and yes I did put the old shirt on just to check I hadnt put on weight) Fatboys have no chance of even getting into a lotto shirt.

Seems like there is a general stock issue. I had this problem as well but fortunately I was down that neck of the woods at the weekend and bought my Large shirt, i used to be xxl. I also noticed they are not doing a female shirt so had to buy my daughter a small boys When I enquired about the female shirt no-one knew why they were not doing one. You moan you can't get a shirt from SFC, you moan about the back-order time, you cast vile aspertions about forum readers' eating habits (which can only be veiled criticism of their general level of intelligence), and by demanding they "admit it" you are simultaneously slagging them off for lying by omission. You've had a lucky escape...until now. You don't fool me with the fake wit and chummy tone.
