Saint in Paradise Posted 1 October, 2008 Share Posted 1 October, 2008 Fans moan because a lot of us don't have a lot of faith in Mr Lowe and some of us totally despair about Mr Wilde. Some of us have so much feeling for Saints that we worry greatly and don't want the team to be relegated again, we worry when Saints lose and that is the case even if the team is made up of young or old players. Some of us even worry for Mr P and are worried about how much time he will be given to adapt to the English CCC. Just because we moan doesn't mean we all want Saints to fail just because of the Board I LOVE it when Saints win. I am also sick to death of posters trying to promote a "class war", something I find totally ridiculous. Finally to end my rant when I read posters calling people insects and other equally stupid names I straight away stop reading and so they fail with their attempt to win me over to their viewpoint, I think any poster who uses very insulting names to describe others should be put on gardening leave for at least 2 weeks. We've beaten three teams deeply entrenched in the bottom half of the table like us, our injury list is getting longer, and the attendance figures probably mean that the likes of Lallana and Davis will be gone in January. It would be nice to enjoy a rare winning streak without a petty piissing contest from certain elements on here. Well winning against teams around us is important isn't it and it's something we didn't manage to do last season. It's a shame that all the people staying away are the ones who will moan the loudest if we have to sell players in January because of the poor attendances. I suppose it highlights the negative mindset of those people. I for one am happy to enjoy a victory and support the team that runs out onto the pitch, I saw more commitment and passion in our players last night than I saw in the whole of last season so they deserve support, whoever is in the boardroom. In most of the games this season the keeper has kept us in it, even at bl00dy Doncaster ! What p1sses me off are the posters on here who have consistently bleated on about 'total football' and how well we will do this season, when the evidence on the pitch, and the considered opinions of most people coming on here after attending the games, show that no matter how much effort the team might, laudably, put in, they are many miles from being anything like the finished product; and whilst JP is getting better, I still have strong reservations about his tactical nous or willingness to change things when they patently don't work. There's a world of difference, and you know it.Alpine I dont believe its any different than a poster after a defeat come on and find negatives to annoy fans who have spent their time and money going to watch a game. They are upset as it is by the result and then dont need to have some point out the bleeding obvious or pick away at the fans moral even more. Yes we may have to sell in january, we all knew that so why do fans point it out agian when we are still trying to enjoy the moment. The fans being demoralised by fans spouting negatives on all the forums does make a diference because these fans go out to the pubs and clubs and spread the word good and bad. A good feel and that spreads and may just get a few others go to the games.
