Just watching match of the day and saw the guy scoring a free kick for Wolves who flicked it up then smashed it into the top corner, I was thinking this is not the first time this has been done as Le tiss did against Wimbledon. I was glad that on match of the day they just showed Le Tiss's goal and said that he was the first to do it. What a goal!

Pretty sure that on 'taking le tiss' matt says that was the one and only time he tried that... 100% record.

David jones missed one last season.

Basically matts amazing.

Moving on. It is mad how many saints players are still in the top flight. Van damme, kenwyne, bale, theo...

Anyway I'm drunk.

Goodnight x

Sad thing is, in a fantasy league with a few of my friends, my team actually consists of only ex-Southampton players. Gonna see how well we do :D

Am I going senile or did Matt Oakley score this type of free kick V Hull in our first season in the CCC? Kevin Ellison scored an equally spectacular equaliser for Hull after coming on as a sub if I'm thinking of the same game. Two wonderful moments in a shocking game.

Made all the more sweet by the fact Hans Segers, had been spouting off in the press ahead of the game that Le Tiss wasnt good enough for England.

They asked Matty about it after the match and he said " I'm not sure why he says that, may be it s because everytime I play against him I score.
