He was the oil in the engine of midfield, keeping things moving forwards, slick and simple, never appreciated till he was missing. People forget how good Dean Richards was for us. Guthrie was good. I used to love Tommy Jenkins. Didn't Dave Jones play him at RB a few times when he first joined, and Tessem said he'd never played there before in his whole career? Yep he did, he said he was an attacking player and had never played left back before. Decent player and underrated. Absolutely agree, people slagged him off when he was here but badly missed when injured, a very good player who wasn't appreciated until he was gone. People forget he wasn't brilliant for 90 minutes week in week out which you need to be to be accepted on here.
