Im playing in a cup final this morning, or i would have been going along. Fair to say i have absolutely ZERO nerves about my game but am absolutely cacking it for Saints!!

COYR lets do this the easy way. 5:00pm tonight lets be celebrating! A scrappy 1-0 with a goal off of goberns backside will do it. 3 points please

Would love to put it to bed this afternoon, although there is still an outside chance it could all go Pete Tong even if we win today but it would take a real cock up by us and Huddersfield would need overturn that large goal difference on Saturday.

Ordinarily you would see this as an away banker - 2nd top vs 2nd bottom.

This isnt an ordinary match though.

Still have it as an away banker.

2 up by half time, 3-1 full time.

I'm on the bus, were all in the building, we have some good players around the place and they're all pulling in the same direction.

One minute I am nervous as hell, I think its the hope and expectation thats doing it.

The next I am quite calm as I look at this as our "bonus" game, we have another chance if it goes tits up today.

But I desperately want it fininshed today, I cant stand another week of this.

There isn't any chance!!! If we win today we are promoted and I will start celebrating.

Can't remember the last time i was this nervous! Sat at work and i cant keep still. Stupid really as we can afford to **** this up today and get the points needed on Saturday. Does that make it any easier though? No.

If i smoke anymore tabs today my lungs might collapse.

Not a chance of us not going up if it comes down to goal difference.

Given that we always seem to trip ourselves us with these games in hand it is a worry. But the form of late and team spirit should carry us through. We haven't been playing particuarly well but we have been winning. The good news is that it is in our own hands and we have an extra game. I am sure we shall be okay.

Fair play to Huddersfield too. I hope they go up through the pay offs.

Throughout March and April we've played 14 games; we've won 11 of those, drawn one and lost two. We've won at Brighton (the first visiting team to do so this season); we've won at the grounds of more than one apparent 'bogey' team. What will we do if we actually play well I wonder?

Agree with you about Huddersfield though! :)

Not that nervous actually - seen a real determination and belief in the team recently, and I think we'll do it. Not saying i'll be easy, but I do think a win is very achievable today. More pressure on Plymouth really, this is their last chance, we have one more...

I keep having to keep reminding myself that if we lose this we still only have to beat Walsall at home in front of a full house at SMS.

I think we will seize our chance today and Plymouth will always have it in the back of their minds that even if they win, they would still be likely to go down on Sat.

My point excactly. I think we have more in the locker. I don't think we have the best team in this league but we do have several of the best individuals. If we can win so often when we are not firing on all cylinders for 90 mins we should be home and dry if Adkins can get the whole team playing consistently through the ranks. But even if not, we have enough match winners in the side to get the job done.
