Who remembers Zoltan Liptak?

Recommended Posts

Made a handful of sub appearances, all of them in injury time when we were holding on for a result

Or looking to score a goal! Seem to remember on a few occasions he went up top as a striker.

Didn't really play enough for us to make any real judgement on him tbh.

He never even really had much playing time with us when we got relegated. Anyone remember what he was like?

For some reason i seem to remember he was quite poor when he did play.

I noticed him in the recent Euro match Sweden v. Hungary.

He looked quite useful and nothing like I remembered...Hungary won 2-0 and the Swedes were really down.

Far from it but he didn't get enough games to settle as we were in panic mode at the time and if you didn't play like Cashley in your first game you were out. Wrong place at the wrong time for Liptak but he showed some promise

Currently on trial with Brighton

I think they liked his name and thought that being Hungarian meant well hung :scared:

Wasn't there rumours that we were going to be bought by a Hungarian (nationality not big kocks) consortium at the same time or was it feeder club type thingy?
