Last August on my hols I wandered up North to see friends, and Saints at Barnsley, and bought a ticket on the day. Different approach this year, perhaps down the pub! We were at home to Palace in 07-08 and finished the season at home to Sheff Utd. Run in seems better but just looking at the fixtures makes you realise how tough it really is. Need to beat some of the top teams every so often. TBH Promoted teams could do with picking up points early....we haven't got much chance of that. We could be rooted to the bottom after the few few weeks going by that opening set! The9 Posted 18 June, 2012 Share Posted 18 June, 2012 Actually a one in thirty six, we won't be playing Reading in the opening match as we'll be twinned with their fixtures and you can't play "derby" matches in the first or last matches of the season (or on bank holidays). There's no guarantees regarding home or away games either, we weren't in this division last season so it's unlikely it'll be taken into consideration and teams often have 2 homes or 2 aways in a row even when it is.
