With all the recent (well deserved) praise in various publications from across the world, which paint the picture of Southampton FC being a shinning example of all that is right with the game, the "uncool underdog" and "little old Southampton" tags are starting to rub off. So, which do you prefer? Do (did!) you like being the underdog, or do you prefer being a fan of a club that is a leading light in football? England will lose against Chile and Germany, Southampton will drop a few positions in the table, we'll lose 2 or 3 of our best players in January and everyone can go back to what they love, which is moaning about how **** we've played every week. He has now said European football is his target. As far as I can see, he has achieved almost everything he has said he will.. Time for Saints in Europe and a top 6 team?
