Police do not wear masks. They also do not wear paramilitary garb.

I don’t disagree with much of what Rutte has said there. Europe has needed to build up with Russia becoming more a direct threat this decade, and Trump had a point about spending per GDP.

That doesn’t meant that Trump wasn’t an utter cunt about the Afghan troop remarks and make murder of his own citizens abhorrent.

Those two perspective confidently co-exist.

Yes I have. They are not regular police though. They are a special squad. ICE are nothing to do with the police. They are a federal law enforcement agency. They are not the police so why have that on their vests?

They are sworn in law enforcers, just like, err polICE officers.

For some reason you have decided they are different but US law says they are the same, with the same powers.

“Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents are not the same as local police officers. They are federal law enforcement officials focussed specifically on immigration enforcement and removing foreign nationals from the U.S. While both can make arrests, ICE operates under federal authority whereas local police enforce state and city laws.”

”While ICE may work with local police on certain tasks, they are distinct entities with different training, jurisdictions and goals.”

Distinct entities = not the same.

Can't wait until towards the end of March, when it's Weston's turn to respond. 🙂

You said that they are just like them. You said that US law says they are the same. They are not. Federal agents are Federal agents. The police are the police. Federal agents are not the police. They are distinct entities. It really isn’t that difficult to understand the difference.

Police = sworn law enforcement

ICE = sworn law enforcement

Sorry if you're struggling to understand!
