Watford v SAINTS - Build Up

Batman

Recommended Posts

Seems we are very keen to try and get two up front this season.

Didn't we use 3-5-2 a couple of times last season to good effect?

Palace away on Boxing Day - still got my free scarf somewhere. Worked really well for most of the match, as warnock was playing a 4-4-2 formation so it meant we dominated midfield.

Also Everton at home, 3-0. No Morgan or Big Vic in that team either, and Mane was the only non U21 player we had on the bench.

This formation suits Mane. Today he nets one at least.

But in the midfield I'm not sure about Davis. I rather see JWP or Tadic there. I admit Davis played well against Newcaste so maybe he has earned it. Let's see.

Come on Saints! If we don't win this one I'm gonna be ****ed

Bbc suggesting its four at the back with Yoshida playing right back, and Soares playing as one of the three behind Pelle...

3 at the back, surely

unless Cedric is pushed further forward

if it is 3 at the back, wonder if it will last till HT

Does give him defensive cover, although Caulker being dragged out wide is a scary prospect.

Ighalo especially is quick!

I have Ighalo in my fantasy side. He certainly isn't afraid to shoot. We need to make, sure he doesn't get time to set his feet as he is a danger.
