Winners: Liverpool (can't see anyone beating them yet...City still need to do work on their team, as illustrated in the CL)

Relegated: WBA, Palace, Villa

Top 4: Liverpool, City, Man Utd, Chelsea (no real change tbh)

Us: Top half I hope, maybe a sniff at a top 7 finish towards the end of the season - if we keep up the pace

Surprise team: Leeds

Surprise poor side: Wolves

First Sacking: Hodgson (with him moving upstairs as a DoF type)

Resignation/mutual leaving - Bourinho.

Winners: Man City

Relegated: West Brom, Fulham, Palace

CL: Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal

Europa: Chelsea, Spurs, Wolves

Surprise of the season: Sheff Utd/Leeds duking it out for the best in Yorkshire just outside the European places. Burnley continuing to be boring but effective after their weird end of the season.

Underwhelming: Everton. Ancelotti motivates egos, he doesn't coach mediocrity above it's station.

First sacking: Woy.

Saints: 8th or 9th. Praying for a good cup run.

Winners:  Man City (fancy them to win both cups too because of their squad)

Top 4:  Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal

Think five of the "big" six need to strengthen their defences in a big way with the exception of Liverpool who I think need to improve their midfield!

Relegated:  Fulham, West Brom and Aston Villa

Surprise good team:  Arsenal could well be fighting for top 3 if they bring in two or three quality players at the back

Surprise poor team:   Palace (if they lose Zaha, could take Villa's place in relegation zone)

Saints:  Need to start well for once which will shape our season, could be 8th but could also be 15th.

Signing of the season:  Ziyech (Chelsea), Aubamayeng new contract!

Poor signing of the season:  Lallana (based on injury record above anything), Thinking outside the box, Messi if City sign him

First Manager to leave - unfortunately Steve Bruce - comes across as a decent bloke and think he's done a great job but just don't see him lasting long

Top Goalscorer - I backed Vardy each way last season based on him playing week in week out, no rotation and also good odds - may do him again but at a bigger price this season, I'm tempted to have a quid or two each way on .....wait for it, Che Adams.  Have a funny feeling he will score more than Danny Ings this season but then maybe I am mad - just think Danny will create more this season as he will be more closely marked. Che may go under the radar and hopefully his confidence is now up!

Championship - Brentford if they somehow hold on to best players, otherwise Norwich

League One - Plymouth Argyle (bit of a Ryan Lowe fan),  Skates could go close if they get a new manager

League Two - Bolton (if financially stable, should be a big threat at that level)

Winners: Liverpool

Other Champions League/Europa qualifying places: 2 Man City 3 Man Utd 4 Chelsea / 5 Arsenal (6 Spuds 7 Wolves)

Relegated: Fulham, WBA, Aston Villa

Us: 8th, just ahead of Leicester & Everton

Surprise good team: Saints!

Surprise shit team: Sheff Utd (not a real surprise, but they won't repeat their success of 2019-20) & West Ham (also, Leicester to have a more disappointing season)

Signing of the season as it stands: Ziyech & Salisu

Shit signing of the season as it stands: Joe Hart

First sacking of the season: David Moyes

The Managerial “get fed up with mediocrity” resignation: Slaven Bilic or Jose Mourinho

Final Table:

Liverpool

Man City

Man Utd

Chelsea

Arsenal

Spurs

Wolves

Saints

Leicester

Everton

Burnley

Leeds Utd

C. Palace

Newcastle

Sheff Utd

Brighton

West Ham

West Brom

Fulham

A. Villa

Surprised people are tipping Arsenal for the top 4. Just can't see that happening at all.

Chelsea should be much stronger. Maybe push Man City for second. Liverpool should win it again. Man Utd 4th.

Champions: Liverpool

Champions League: Man City, Chelsea, Man Utd

Europa: Arsenal, Wolves, Saints

Relegation: Fulham, WBA, Villa

First sacking: Hodgson

Leading scorer: Aguero

Five Saints predictions for next season.

1. We'll finish top half, but not Europe
2. N'Lundulu will overtake Obafemi in the pecking order
3. Adams will reach double figures and take the lead when Ings is injured
4. Smallbone will challenge for a starting place instead of Romeu but Sims, Reed, Boufal will fail.
5. Hoedt, Carillo, Lemina, Forster will still be Saints players at the end of the season.

Over to you.

Signing of the season - Ebere Eze (watched him a lot in the Championship, great talent)

Shit signing of the season - Ben Chilwell
