Doesnt his brother own some sort of transfer portal where you can see which players are available and all their data? It'll be interesting to know how many of our signings come from that.

So alas, behold, the smartest man in football... and someone we must apparently suffer through until bankruptcy strikes.

Think in terms of Solak we must be at the acceptance rather than realisation phase now.  Will be for a challenge for him to accept the damage that Ankerson has has inflicted on his reputation, bank balance and our football club, but it he wants to recover anything he has to remove the charlatan and his idiot entourage pronto!

Yup and if what i've been told is true Saints actually actively sell his brothers platform to other clubs, which feels - i don't know - a bit unethical to me, almost like SR is a ponzi scheme

I know we've been around this loop before but I can't remember the definitive position... Does Solak actually have hire and fire rights at boardroom level within the Sport Republic company structure, or is he 'just' an investor who happens to have a vested interest in Sport Republic but he couldn't actually get rid of Ankersen if he wanted to...?

Yes. He is a large majority shareholder. The option in terms of (very) minor shareholders (such as RA) would be to retire or face legal action towards removal. It’s a matter of desire.

No quality metrics whatsoever then. No mention of whether the transfers were a success or not. Just that they were 'facilitated'.

It's like that bit in Spinal Tap when they're described as 'one of Britain's loudest bands'.

Seems like a great deal for the Ankersens, we buy players from the transfer room, Jonas gets a nice little commission, no one is held accountable. Wonder if Rasmus has his snout in the trough as well.
